Hey fellow bandsters!! Would like to find a band friend in the Roanoke Va area to have contact with. Had my surgery on 02-07-11 and would just like a local band buddy. Most in the local support groups have had bypass done not the band so hard to share and compare with them. I am a married female halfway to my goal weight as of this morning....(guidelines said we needed to post this kind of info hahaha) Thanks!! KOKIE

Target also sells a product like this. I got some the other week and yes....very tart...very sweet so dilution is the key. The name of the kind at Target is Pure Protein. It is 2.9 oz and has 25g of protein. It comes in a 6 pack box KOKIE

I am up at 2:30 with HORRIBLE pains under my ribcage and had to take 2 tums due to coughing up acid.... Since banding on 2-7-11 I have never had acid ref or heartburn. I ate over a cup for dinner around 4 this afternoon and didnt chew very well rushing (my husband is having severe med probs and i was running from doc to doc for him) and have been awake due to pain that has been unbearable since eating. Does it sound like my band has slipped? I am terrified! Please help with any slippage info you have Thank you KOKIE

Wow Spartan......even if you don't agree with something doesn't meen you have to be a piece of sh@t to them! I dont tan but would never jump on someone seekinh help like this innocent person. People come here for support and are searching for help! With an attitude like you have maybe it's YOU that needs to spend a little less time posting and a little more time researching etiquette and sensitivity...you DO REALIZE taking care of the outside is one thing but being mean and hurtfull and spiteful makes you emotionally "cancerous" and those emotions eat and eat at your conscious till they consume you just like the "physical" cancer you are so quick to preach about...........PS...YOU'RE SMARTER THAN THAT...CONSIDER FEELINGS WHILE YOU OFFER "ADVICE"...

Elfie I LOVE reading your posts hahaha. You always make me laugh and I appreciate your wisdom!!! I will go to my apt this thurs and do just that....reminding them again why I got my little band friend...And ask if they want me to just eat hog wild -anything I want to stop loosing to get a fill or if they want me to go by their rules and follow their plan (still loosing weight) But get some help from the tool they put in me...for this very reason...
