I live in conroe... how old are most of the people at the meetings... its proly the only thing that has stoped me from goig... I am 20 and I always fear everyone will be so much older.

yeah well i was thinking this too! They have always told me how pretty I was in the face... and they would halfheartedly support weight loss attempts and they were very suporting of the band suprisinglybut after i lost like 30 pounds they ran off

wow what a way to make bigger people feel worse!!!! An intervention in your clothing? Newsflash to clothing manufactuers... WE KNOW WE ARE FAT!!!!! we don't need a blazing tag in our already high waisted taper leg disgusting make you look 50 pounds heavier jeans that we are forced to buy from you... I am willing to bet they would start putting the tags in at like a size 12... I push for them to do this... yes... as long as they put tags in the 00's saying "Our jeans have concluded that your butt is nonexistant... doctors report that a nonexistant butt is a serious medical condition. Please consult a physican or the nearest McDonalds... included is a 10 dollar McDonalds Gift certificate...best used at one meal." Yeah I would be in way more support of that to... or maybe they can start making skinny girl jeans ugly and claiming they had to use too litle fabric to make them pretty... maybe that would cure the true epidemic

It seems I have lost a bunch of friends since having surgery.... do you think it is related to it? I have not changed in personality just in appearance... and all the friends that I have lost or am losing are pretty and skinnier than me? Do you guys think it relates? and has this happened to you since the band?

I wasn't having severe pain just some pains in my upper right abdoment that i thought were muscle cramps.... but the doctor told me that was my stomach being irritated... YAY haha. Yes.. I advise everyone to follows doctors orders to a T so that you dont have to set yourself back like this... HOWEVER... for the next few weeks I am going to do all liquids so I can heal... i dont have to but I am ... maybe I will lose some quick weight too! But i am going to be taking Vitamins and Protein shakes to make sure I am healthy.

Tybalt- The doctor did the exact same thing for me. It was almost euphoric walking out of the office after it all. i drank a liter of Water immediatley and was still thirsty. I am doing chicken stock right now and it's nice... takes meback to those first 2 weeks after surgery. Warning thought don't be tempted to eat solids because you feel better... my doc said it could irritate my stomach even further and cause a lot of pain so I have been strict about sticking to the liquids... He said that my problem was from too much acid due to stress? Can I ask what meds he put you on? he put me on prevacid and carafate and i feel so much better.

same thing hapened to me except i can't even keep liquids down I am about to call the doctor... see what he says... maybe my stomach shrank and the resriction shifted or something... i miht need to get some let out..
