Well the seminar went great I am now on my way. Have all appointments scheduled. Was able to get a 6 mo. diet letter from my Pcp so that's not required. The latest appt I have is with the designated Nutritionist. 3/30. I hoped there was someone else they could refer me to but no. But everything else will be done meaning, the pulmonary, ultrasound, and others.. I'm so excited. oh and my insurance covers the surgery and post-op 100 percent. so i'm thankful about that. Hope everyone is doing well and is healthy.

How exciting! lol congratulations! Can't wait till I'm in the same boat with ya! well about my toes anyway.

Aww, i'm sorry you are going through this. Don't regret your decision. Give it some more time. Remember stress keeps weight on you also.

I'm not banded yet, but i also love the dance games. Some games that i love are Gold's Gym boxing workout, and GOld's Gym dance workout, also Just Dance 1 and 2 and the Michael Jackson Experience. love the wii. I also have the Biggest Loser game and the Wii Fit.

Ooohh the sleep thing is definitely not a deal breaker! I'll cat nap for a month for this band! lol I really need this tool and i'm definitely ready to start.

I'm just getting started on the whole process, but i technically have 185llbs to lose for a "normal" bmi. soooo. You're definitely not alone. I'm so glad I found this forum for support. I'm sure it will help. It's helped so much already.

interesting answers... that always had me wondering also. Haven't had the surgery YET but I'm definitely and only a stomach sleeper. Thats a bit worrisome. lol

wow.. i was hoping to see some replies here. I have the exact same insurance and going to my seminar on thurs. Not even for my consult yet. I'm just so ready to start this journey to the new me. Well Courtney, hope you got some answers already that you can share with me.

hmmm cookie, we're both from NY. Wonder if I could start making these appointments now even though I don't know yet what I need. But it can't hurt! lol we probably need the same things. My seminar is on thurs the first week of feb. I am just like you. i made up my mind after thinking and doing oh so much research and now this will slow me down. When I make up my mind i'm like a dog with a bone! lol Good luck. I look forward to seeing your future posts since you're so far ahead of me now.

Very interesting.. the differences in between. Well what a difference insurance makes. I have United Healthcare. Guess I have to slow down a little bit and go to the seminar... once that's done I'll call my insurance and see what they say. or would ya say call first. Since I haven't even done the seminar yet, it's on Thursday... lol thank you for your replies.
