    Hi Beautiful Banders, I was up to early today couldn’t sleep so I may have to have a nap J. I had 2 small glasses of wine, a martini & a few extra crackers with dip and I am up .6 of a pound! Crap, yesterday was my day of rest so I will have to kick it up a notch! Food yesterday: · 1 egg, spinach & feta · Atkins shake · 2 Non fat lattes · 1 cup taco meat, veggies and salsa · ½ C cottage cheese · ½ C taco meat · 2 baby bell cheeses · 2 small glasses of red wine · Crantini · 4 rice crackers & guac · 4 rice crackers & guac I usually don’t drink but I wanted to live a little J. That resulted in the crackers. I usually add chicken but cooked taco meat and I just love it. I usually try not to have red meat more than 3 times a week. DH had a migraine coming on yesterday so we didn’t get to the fence. Have house guests and we may get to the fence today. I had to work yesterday for 4 hours so today no work as I have a crazy week ahead. I plan to make sure I stay on my workouts. CBL – It is all about purses with outside pockets or storage. That is a must. Love the purses of the designer you mentioned. Everyone have a great Sunday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Hugs, Kristi

    I can finally see the posts again on the website threadJ. Jods – I am so happy for you & your progress! Enjoy the man & feeling like a kid. Just sit back and have fun & let it take shape. Have fun! Have cleaning up your room & good luck with the last 10 lbs too. Charlene – keep up the great work! It is tough. Apples – just read you post about the weight gain.     Hi beautiful banders, I hope I mention everyone but the tread is not showing on the link on the website. Wow, what a week. I have another crazy week with a number of hot labour relations issues – not fun! Losing sleep but trying to stay healthy and on track. Food wise I had a better balance of the week with no sticking. I have just had to slow down my eating to 30-45 mins for each meal. I am puree more and eat in slow motion. I think though I have found my sweet spot! Workout wise I have had a good week. I have worked out daily for 40-80 mins daily. I am sore from getting back into weights. Trying to move the scale and it is coming slowly .4-.5 each time. I am trying to get below 230lbs and today I am at 230 so I am sure I can do it in the next 3-4days. Then on to the next goal! I am also thinking about my rewards too! I really love this new Coach purse but it is crazy expensive. But I think I will treat myself to keep me motivated! I am going to see if the outlet mall in WA has it so I can save some $’s as in Canada they are more expensive. I am reading “ Living and Eating after WLS by Susan Maria Leach” I have been so tired at night I can read. I still find that with my work load and eating less that I need to nap more still. Not a bad habit on the weekends. During the week I am going to bed earlier which is also a good habit since I am up at 5:30am as I like to work out before work. Apples – that cruise sounds great! Maybe we all should meet and do something like that? I am always game! Ocotillo – I too eat the top of pizzas. I hosted a casual business lunch with pizza and soup. I didn’t have time to be fancy and it was a hit. The best part as I could eat and fit in. Sleeve Talk – If I ever had to have my band replaced I would look at that for lifelong solution. I know there are pros and cons. But it is permanent! I too and tired of being the fat one! I still have a big journey ahead! But I am determined this time and feel that I am on the right track. This group gives me the support as do many others that I have surrounded myself with. I want to be the blonde skinny bixxh J! IndioGirl – great work on getting back to the gym! 1 day at at time – sorry to hear about your hubby. Give him so space but don’t give up. Keep the communication up and hopefully he will turn around. Make sure you still put yourself first and get the support you need from your friends and family. I wish you the best – big hugs! I have to catch up with work this morning – urg! Hope the rain will stop as we are going to repair the fence. I want to repair and paint it before it is patio and planting weather. I have my brother-in-law and niece staying tonight.     Thanks all for your love and support. I am going to go to bed tonight early. I am going to the sleep clinic for more testing. But right now it is stress with all that I have got going on. Being a type A I can be impatientJ. My chocolate pudding with Protein mix in is my favourite! I have really kicked up my work out to 45 – 90 minute work outs 5-6 days/week. Linda – I have my own human resources consulting practise. I have gone back to puree my food. I just need to slow it right down. Thanks for your support. Julie – My heart goes out to you. Charlene – I use a food diary on my phone that tracks carbs, protein, fat and calories. It is great! Night, night all! Cheers, Kristi

    Hi gorgeous banders! I am sending everyone bug hugs! Happy hump day! I have been up since 2am. I haven't had much time to drop by as I am up to my eyeballs in work. Working 12 hour days. I can't get the scale moving or my measurments. But I know my body is changing & I feel good. Since I can't sleep I will workout and head into work early. I started back on my weights this week so I hope that will get things moving. Since my fill last week it is still trial and error. Wow, did I get stuck last night! I think it was the combination of Protein & triscut. Holy crap! Thought I was going to die. Thank god for papaya! I know that I can slow down my eating more. I am finding I have to take a bite then wait 1 minute. Chew, chew... I also find that my good foods that worked prefill don't work. For example - my veggie burgers, stuffed mushrooms & some chickens. New foods that work: crab cakes. Have a good rest of the week all! Cheers, Kristi

    Week 7 Post-op

    Hi gorgeous banders! I have been destressing this weekend and preparing for a crazy week. DH b-day today and he loves his gift - ipad2. It was just released on Friday here in Canada so it won't be delivered until 3-4 wks. DH hubby and I had a big 3 kms walk in the sunshine along the river. Went out to celebrate his b-day last night. The plan was to go dancing. We never go out. Just our luck we went out and the dj was lame and nobody was dancing. Also we were both so tired we wanted to go to bed. Sign of age? lol as we are in our early 40's. We had a really lazy day today. Lunch out on the river and a big nap. Since my fill on wed I am getting use to what works and not with the new plumbing. I have been a stuck a few times. I am eating less and just need to find what works. It is amazing how 2 CC's can change everything. I made a yummy egg, chicken & blue cheese puree. Spring is here so we are going to start on our little yard in our town house. I want to spruce things up so going to do a few repairs and paint. Planning new planters & outside decor. I only lost a pound this week but need to take measurements as I feel good and I am down another size. Another bag of clothing this week gone! I am focused on my trip to Mexico with my BFF. I would like to be down 2 more sizes. One gal at my clients is calling me the blonde skinny bitch - I find it really motivating . I am so excited that I can start back on weights and kick up my workouts a notch or 2. I need to see how things go then I will also start back with pilates 2x/week. My back feels better. The true test will be golf when I start back. Sorry if I missed anyone. Big bugs to you all & have a kick ass great week!

    Any Feb bandster gotten a fill yet?

    Fill on Wed Mar 23 and down 1 lb since. Today on mushies . I am up to 5CC's I have more restriction but not sure how this will play out as I definetly have more resrtiction. But my stomach is a growling bear so happy to be off liquids and at the mushie stage. Happy Friday banders! Have a great weekend! Cheers, Kristi

    Hi beautiful banders! Thanks all for the support. Typical Monday but all good. I got lots done. I had a good workout on my elliptical, business lunch and ended the day with a massage. Laura K – Mr Right is somewhere you least expect! Have a blast in Vegas! Meredith – I hope all works out with your friend. Jewel – good luck with school & Jake. My heart goes out to you.     What are you eating?

    Love my eggs too! I start my day everyday with one egg, feta & spinach. Yummy & a good start to the day! Cottage cheese & fruit for a snack Veggie burger for lunch with cheese Protein snack - bar or more cottage cheese, yogurt meat & veggies for dinner Fat & sugar free pudding with protein for a snack Lot of Water, crystal light & 2 cups of coffee. If I have a drink when out usually caesar/bloody mary or 1 glass of wine Treats - discovered Oh Yeah Protein Bars - like having a Oh henry bar with 20g of protein or Weight Watchers chocolate bar minis I love anything made by Veggie patch. They also make yummy meatless Buffalo bites 12g protein

    Missavery - you need to make the best choice for yourself. I have a labband. I was banded on Feb 9th. I am 44 yrs old and have lost 30 lbs and will receive my fist fill this wednesday. The members on this page have been banded longer and have amazing success stories.
