jameza40-- So, very cool about the loss...but what do we do about the loose skin? I worry about my face and chins area. Maybe cause I'm older. You younger gals don't have to worry as much?

Lucky-- How cool you can see a difference in pics! I hate having my picture taken, but maybe I won't soon enough. Jess-- I agree with you! We have a great group. I'm new to the site and love the info I'm getting from all of you! It helps soooo much to hear people going through all of it, too. Today I realized how much I think about food. I need to keep myself busy....4 more days til I start Pase 2. I get fruit juice, broths, yogurt and 3 helpings of friut a day. (Boiled or pureed) I'm very excited! LOL

Denise-- I agree. This is the hardest thing I've ever done. Your daughter had the surgery? How's she doing now? Great to have support! You'll get through it......we all will.

Has anyone ever heard of Fill Centers USA ??? I had my surgery in Mexico. They gave me a list of doctors that will do fills in the us but there isn't one in GA. I don't want to go all the way back to Mexico if I don't have to. I did a search and found Fill Centers USA. It sounds pretty good. I might have to look in FL, too. http://www.fillcentersusa.com/Q&A.html#3

Hey siyah! Federal Way? I was born and raised in West Seattle now living in Georgia. I can't imagine going back to work with children, under your circumstances! Take it easy! (I worked for the Kent School District for 5 yrs) It's nice to feel stronger every day. I can tell I'm getting back to normal...just taking sooooo long. 5 more days of broth and Jello....YUM! NOT!!!

Gerbera---3rd week berfore I get yogurt and milk products. Isn't it something how different the doctor's instructions are? (How long to wait before the next stage, etc?) Who would think that I'd ever dream about a noodle in my chicken broth? LOL I do appreciate your understanding! :biggrin1:

Nathalie-- When I spoke of "yummy" things.....I was talking about the food she's eating now. I've been allowed to eat drinking yogurt, ice cream, milky drinks, soups (not all clear) so long as they are thin and of consistency to pass through a straw. I know why I did it, in the first place. I was just trying to express that I'm having a hard time right now and need to talk about it. I thought it would help to talk to people.

Gerbera! Getting to eat all of those yummy things! I'd kill for some of them. Isn't that sad? (LOL) I want to thank you for the note. I do feel better!

Hi! I'm new to the "forum" thing...I'm thankful to find people going through the same thing I am. There haven't been many problems in the past 7 days. Stitches still hurt a little, tummy still seems huge...BUT the dealing with not being able to eat! I read where other doctors let you eat yogurt and (small helpings) of ice cream during the first two weeks. Not mine! How do you get through the first 2 weeks just eating Jello and clear broth? My husband has been so understanding but I feel like a bitch and tell him I'm sorry. :help: Reading about the people who had their surgery earlier in month... did they ever feel the way I do now? I'm usually a very happy/positive person... Mary
