I'm 28 years old, newly married, and new to the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge area. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember and have spent thousands of dollars on various diet attempts, only to lose weight and gain it all back plus more! I am getting my lap band surgery on Jan. 21, 2011 and I can't wait to get my life back!

I love crime shows, my border collie/blue heeler dog Ally, my husband Craig, thriller movies, cartoons, naps, dill pickles, and Archie Comics

WHEN I finally beat this demon, I want to travel, play sports, get on the ground and play with my nieces (ages 3 and 2), get frisky with my husband, wear funky clothes and jewellery and go for jobs that interest me and will challenge me.

Although I have a long journey ahead of me, I am confident that my lap band will make this the final battle against my weight. I will finally be in control of my life again and my outside will FINALLY match my inside! Here we go!
