Smokey don't feel bad my elliptical is so dusty!! But you really should try zumba. I love it cause everyone is at a different level of dance ability but we still have a great time & a great workout. My best friend ( who's 5'2 116 lbs) is the teacher and I'm determined to lose about 80lbs and start teaching classes with her!

Wow talking to you guys has me even more excited!!! I've been browsing the site since November and vie been waiting for my month to come up! We need to make sure we stay in touch no matter successes or failures. I have a great support system with friends and family but it's so reassuring to know others going through the exact same thing. My pre op appointment is Friday & we're expecting snow until early that morning. I really hope it's not cancelled... -

Did your doctor tell you what a good weight range is for you? Mine said because of my height & big boobs realistically 220 is a good weight. Just wondering what yours said since we're same height same weight... -

That's exactly what I was thinking I might order chicken push it around the plate to act like I'm eating then bring it home to my boyfriend!! I've been eating like crazy the past few weeks. Last night we went out to dinner and I just sat there and thought I'm over it! I'm over food, I love to cook & go out to dinner but food doesn't hold that same joy as it did! I really feel I am ready for this lifestyle change. How are the liquid diets going today??? -

They always have an amazing spread I'm hoping the have soup & I can have the broth... Good luck on your diets you two should do fine. Other than that meeting Tuesday I'm excited my best friend ( who has a great figure) is gonna do the liquid diet with me to give me moral support. We'vebeen talki what shakes & Protein drinks to get. I was terrified that I cheat & because she will be doing it with me I am so pumped!!! -

I took your advice and I'm set up for an appointment the week before my surgery. Hopefully seeing the psychologist will help me figure out why I overeat & how to stop. Thanks for the suggestion. On a crappier note I found out I have moderate sleep apnea & will have to use cpap Machine for the next few months which sucks, but the doc is hopeful I won't have to use it once I lose significant weight -

I was thinking about doing therapy. I really liked the psych doctor I went to for the psych eval. My insurance covers 6 sessions so I thought I might schedule time with him and work on my food issues. -
For the past 2 weeks vie been eating at all my favorite spots. The crazy thing is I haven't enjoyed them I guess it's a sign that I'm ready!! I start my pre op liquid diet on the 24th my family & I are going to a nice "last dinner" together Good luck with your surgeries!

I've tried to adopt the liquid diet early. I do a shake or some type of protein drink for breakfast and eat my other two meals. I'm just a bit nervous cause I love food. I've been going to all my favorite restaurants. Sort of a last meal at each place! I just hope I can do it, so nervous about it... -

Hey waytoofat, Congrats on being approved. I am scheduled for feb 7th. I'm so excited & nervous at the same time. I begin my diet on the 24th. I went to bariatriceating.com they have some good drinks on there. I like believe very yummy. Eas myoplex isn't bad, Isopure has an aftertaste but not terrible. I just bought like 10 different drinks and see what I like & don't. I notice the ones people recommend I'm not into different taste buds I guess. Hopefully we can keep in touch I am also 5'11 & weigh 304.6. My goal weight is between 200-220. I don't want to get too skinny I wanna keep some of my shape and the doctor said realistically I shouldn't be under 200lbs!!! Again good luck!! We'll be 2 tall stallions soon!!
