I had surgery on Thursday Jan 13 and that night I was in severe pain in my chest and starting out spitting up a foamy substance and then when given my liquid medication the last time I threw up alot of foam and then threw up the medicine. The surgeon first said might thought band may be too tight and may have to go back in and replace with a larger one. He was able to pull 2 ccs of fluid out of it and thought that would fix the problem and it seemed to tempoararily. I was able to drink with no pain or spitting up. Now it is 12 hours later and I am home and I tried to eat jello and it is doing the same thing again. Is this normal and if so what is causing it and when will it go away ?
