Thanks for the support everyone! Well I got thru day 2 and it was hard so I just keep saying to myself today that I've gotten thru 2 rly tough days so I can get thru a 3rd day so far its working. I found out I can eat little things that are rly low carb so I ate a slice of turkey sandwich meat then I scrambled 2 eggs since they have no carbs and now I feel so much better! Ima keep my head up and get thru this. I want to be healthier and finally be happy with myself again and if that's what I want I gotta get thru this!

Ugh I'm only almost done with day two and I'm stressing out so bad I just want to be able to go eat like everyone else! I know my fiance has good intentions by not eating around me so he grabs something when he gets off work but now that's starting to make me mad cuz I want to be able to go eat with him and have dinner with him and I can't!!!!! Ugh I'm starting to think I got myself into something I'm never goin to like

I have the worse headache today! I started my liquid pre op diet today so I know its cuz I have no caffeine in me!!! Ugh

Yup so I'm abt to end my first day and go to bed early I ended up getting a massive headache so I made tea and just put a crystal light peach tea thing in it to make it sweet but still didn't make the headache go away. I hope everyone is doin good so far! I'm rdy to take on tomorrow as a new day and one day closer to surgery!

Today is my first day doing this 2 wk liquid diet. So far everything is okay, but im also only 2 hrs into the day. lol. Ive had my EAS protein shake and Ive had 1 thing if sugar free jello. I packed 2 cans of broth 2 shakes and 2 jello cups for work today. Im hoping the day goes by fast so once i get home for dinner i can eat my one lean cuisine i get to have a day!!!!! 2 wks til surgery!!!! I hope everyone else is doing good in their progress!

Ya I'm making tea now and using a crystal light peach tea sweetener thing idk but I gotta do something lol

Hey guys! I didn't have to do the 6 month diet either. I have blue cross blue shield anthem and my dr submitted my papers to insurance jan 2nd and then called me jan 3rd telling me I was approved. I guess it rly depends on what insurance you have. Good luck! I started my 2 wk liquid diet today and surgery is feb 2nd!

Hey I'm also having surgery feb 2nd. But my dr has me start my liquid diet tomorrow. But my schedule 2wks is the first week 2 protein shakes a day and 1 meal (can only be leancuisine or smartchoice frozen dinner) but then I can have as much suger free jello and sugar free popsicles and broth as I want. Then my second week I go to 4 protein shakes a day and unlimited broth jello and popsicles that r sugar free! I hoping everything goes well for everyone else!

My name is Tyler Ashton and Im having the lapband surgery Feb 2nd at Baptist Hospital in Nashville Tn. Dr. Morton will be my surgeon. Im pretty excited but nervous at the same time. Im only 21 years old but I feel as if im better off getting this surgery while im still young. Im exactly 2 wks and 4 days away from surgery and just 4 days away from starting my pre-op diet. I would love to get some more information on things I can eat and drink during these 2 weeks of pre-op diet!!! Thanks
