Hi, My name is Hope Calkins...I am a 34 year old mother of 2 children ages 12 and 6...My husband an I have been married for going on 16 years...I started persueing surgery options in 2010 because The weight was effecting my everyday life an my family an is suffering...My health has gone down hill...I wanna see my kids become parents someday and growup....I have looked at many options an found the lap band to be the best one for me....I have done all the pre-requirements for surgery...the only one left to do is loose 10 more lbs...My surgery date shoul be late feb early march....My starting weight was 310...I am 5'11 and my BMI is 43..I have hypertention, gurd, artheritis, an sleep ap...My journy has started...I hope for the best an to be a healthier me by this time next year....
