Well in Feb I have my last appt with my pcp, and I finally meet with the surgeon. So if all goes well I will get my surgery date.

Me too I currently weigh 399lbs, I have a loooooooooooong way to go. But I'm excited about the ride. Keep me posted on your progress:)

I think you should ask the surgeon if he can refer you to a Pcp. Who will help you with the six month process. -

Welcome and Congrats on your new Husband. The process all depends on your insurance, my insurrance requires three months. But that three months requires that I meet with my Pcp, nutrionist and have a pshy evaluation. After all that is done which is Feb 7th, I will be scheduled for surgery.

Well when I had my eval, he just wanted to get to the root of my over eating. I actually found him very helpful, my advice would be just be honest and ask questions. I think it's a great tool for long term sucess. Good Luck please keep me posted:)
