    Pureed Foods

4 years after my Rouen Y, I still have problems eating, and so my surgeon is going to do a revision. I can't eat solid foods at all! However, I found two sources for pureed foods: Walgreens, on line, you can order a brand called THiCKIT. You can purchase several different meats, veggies and desserts. Taste is okay. Also, if you a desperate for home cooked style, search on web for "BLOSSOM FOODS". The food is great, and I could not make it without it. It's delivered to your home frozen and you just pop it in microwave. They are in the process of updating their website, but should be operation January 17. In the meantime, you can look at the food available, review the nutrition chart, and place your order with them via telephone. BLOSSOM FOOD really tastes good, and is available in pureed, ground and shredded to accommodate the different steps in learning to "re-eat" food. Give both a try. Walgreens also deliveries directly to the house. On the Walgreens site, just type "thickit" and it will pull up the Thickit menu. However BLOSSOM FOOD is my favorite. You can also make food at home., There are a lot of recipes on the website. I add either cream or bullion to what food I am pureeing and it comes out pretty good.
