Thsisme I didn't know you were so close~~~

Hey thisisme. I feel fine, just been getting lots and lots of rest! Haven't heard from my surgeon since though and feeling extremely abandoned. Like he just wanted the money, did the job, and poof he's gone! Im feeling very alone, depressed, and angry!

She answered a couple of questions, but it's nothing like talking to the person who cut you open and put a foreign object in you versus the person that answers his calls. I should have pushed for meeting him before surgery too, instead of while Im laying on the gurney minutes before surgery. He isn't out of town, just 'busy'. I am so happy to have found this site, but I need my doc's support! This sucks.

So I had my surgery this past Tuesday 2/8/11 and that was the first time I met my surgeon Dr. Feiz and that was for all of 3 minutes. Since I woke up in recovery, I haven't seen or heard from him. No check up to tell me how I did, see how I'm doing, nada. I've called, emailed, left messages and still nothing. I feel so alone and lacking that much needed support. Ir was nothing like the experience others have claimed to have had with him. I am more than disappointed and frustrated and desperately wishing I had gone another route. I called his personal cell and one of the office assistant's answered! WTF. I don't know what else to do at this point

Hey Becca! Same here!!! I work in downtown La and live in Inglewood. I was just banded on Tuesday and can use all the support I can get!

Thanks you all. I am home and feeling better. I am on liquids and the pain meds and rest are really helping with the pain.

The day is finally here. I can't believe it and it is a bit surreal. I was very fortunate in my whole lapband process. I started with the initial consult 1/08/11 and was blessed to have my surgery scheduled exactly one month later 2/08/11! I thank my awesome insurance Anthem Blue Cross, my awesome Dr's office Dr. Michael Feiz, and I thank my family and friends for their support. I am nervouse, excited, and so happy about what's to come. I am ready to claim my life back and prepared for the journey on the way

Congrats! Hope it comes soon for you. I initially went through Beverly Hills Physicians and opted for one of their surgeons, but through his private practice. Dr. Michael Feiz.

How exciting! I would be more than happy to Jaramipa. My surgery went well you all. I was in a little pain after, but the pain meds they kept giving me made it much better I went home about 2 1/2 hours post op with minimal pain and a bit of nausea. I took my meds, had some broth and napped the rest of the evening and I feel much better. It wasn't too bad and I thank you ALL for your kind words and warm wishes. This is going to be an awesome journey and I look forward to us sharing/experiencing it together!

Aww I'm sure you will be just fine. As for me Im going crazy thinking about how Im going to feel this time tomorrow. I will keep in touch with you all and hope your experience is an awesome one :-)

You will be just fine! Trust me I have ALL of the same thoughts, fears, and emotions. My surgery is tomorrow and I'm a nutcase lol. Please update us on your status and have a smooth recovery :-)

Congrats! My process was so fast. I had my initial consult 1/8/2011 and my surgery date is tomorrow!!!!! 2/8/2011 I am sooo excited and nervous at the same time!
