Are you excited? Where are you having the procedure done? I'm going to have it at Marina del Rey Hosp. The doctor usually has the patients stay home for 2 weeks but I feel like that is so long to be away from school. I just learned about this website - I've been looking for people who have been banded. The only people I know who have bariatric surgery have had gastric bypass. I'm also on youtube (bandaid612). -

Hi, my name is Christine. I live in LA, California and am awaiting my surgery date! I am being banded on 1.17.11. I am a teacher and am going to take 5 working days off. The 17th is a holiday, so I will not go back to work until the following Tuesday (1.25.11). Does that sound right? Is anyone else getting banded on the 17th? -
Hi Everyone! I am going to be banded on Monday, January 17th at Marina del Rey Hospital in California. I am nervous but excited! 2011 is going to be the start of a great year!
