I am a newbie. I am trying to learn how to post. I wanted to know how long does it take to get a date for surgery? I have a nutritionist appt. - a psych. eval. and a Dr. Appt. all on the same day. My ins. company requires a 3 month supervised diet. So,what comes next?

I have a nut. appt., a psych. eval., and a Dr.Appt. all on the same day. My insurance co. requires a 3 month supervised diet. I wanted to know what happens after that? And how long does it take to get approved for surgery and then get an actual surgery date. Or do you get a date before approval? Thanks
