  1. I am sorry to best you are having ALOT of problems. The only advise I can give is remember that doctor is not the only lap band Dr. You can see another one! Good luck and update.

  5. praise God! my port didnt flip!!!! I got my first fill.

  6. i went to go get my first fill and the dr. thinks my port flipped. so i am back at the hospital to have it looked at under xray. please pray for me cause i really scared.

  7. Why does muscles have to weight more than fat?? my trainer told me not to freak out about the scale because i might gain weight!!! that is so not what i want to hear. but in all honesty my clothes continue to grow larger and i am no longer a wide in shoes!!! such small victories mean so much.

  10. My goal is to be in the 250's before april I weight myself today and I am 279 thats 36lbs down. Soi believe if I really focus I can lose this 19lbs in 1.5 months. It my hunnies birthday, and we are going home to chicago to visit family.I really want my mom to be surprised but most of all I have not been in the 250's for almost 10years. I can DO this!!!!!

    I agree with the post above. I have to wear two also and i bought mine at walmart. I think they were 2 for $8. so i bought a few both smaller than my normal size. Just remember you are only going to be wearing them for about an hour or so. Good Luck.

  14. Its such a yucky day outside, but i feel like its a beautiful summer day inside. God is so good. I am goign to work my but off at my workout session today with mt pt. I won't quit. i have to keep my head up and remember that I am more than a conqueror.

  15. my house smells like a nusing home. i just opened up ALL the windows!! thank God its like 65 outside. if i didnt need the bathroom every 30 minutes i would go walking.

    Surgery is all over!

    Yes its gas pain. The best thing you can do is walk, walk, walk and i had my husband do karate chops to back and shoulders. good luck.
  17. I am SOOOO sore from my workout. I had to roll out of bed this morning. My trainer almost killed me yesterday. Anyone have any suggestions for pain relief?

  18. I had my first workout with my trainer today and it was awesome to have someone in ur face making sure u do 30jump/jacks and not 29. I will tell u how awesome it is tomorrow, when i can get out of bed!!

  20. when i drink sometimes i feel alittle hard ball right under my sterum. is that normal? i dont have any problems with n/v. i go to the dr.

  21. what a beautiful day in kentucky. i walk a mile with my little zackie boo aka my dog. i feel great!!! i am so over cold weather, i am ready for 78 Degree weather NOW.

    New Pain

    I am so sorry that you are going through this. Do you think it had anything to do with exercising? I have only been walking. But I have to admit I cheated on my liquid diet. I at Lo mein noodles. I was scared that I would hurt myself. I didn't have to will power to turn then down, it was almost like I was trying out my new stomach. I only ate 1/2 cup and I was full/ scared. I tolerated it ok but no more trials for me. Monday my diet will change to a soft. Update ASAP. Hang in there.

    CARBS???????

    I have been charting everything that I eat on my post-op diet and I have found today looking back on a couple of days that I have beene SO focous on protein and increasing my calories that i have failed to pay attention to carbs. Today ii have consumed 817 calories 60g protein and *****115CARBS****. I am never going to lose weight with eating that many carbs. I am still on the liquid post-op diet. PLEASE HELP!!!! is this normal ,am i eating to much.
