    severe shoulder pain

I had that kind of pain after my surgery (9/09) but I don't think it was that many days after surgery. They said it was due to being pumped full of gas for the laporscopic procedure, which may be your issue, even this many days post surgery. Call your doctor and have a nurse call you back -- they should have someone on their service after hours hopefully.
  2. OMG! Thank you! I took my daughter to the doctor yesterday because we thought when it started it was food poisoning (before we heard from the rest of the family who had it) .. and the doctor gave her some anti-nausea medicine. I just took one. Thank you SO MUCH ... I would not have even thought of that.
  3. Hello. I joined tonight to ask a question about slippage concerns. I'm a 50 year old female, had my surgery in September 09, starting weight was 283 and I've gotten down to 208 ... but am at 212 following too many sweets during the holidays. I have been going to Curves for all of 2010, but recently ended that membership to join my work fitness program (cheaper and hours work for me better). I pulled a muscle in early December so have laid off the whole month, but plan to get back to work shortly. My post tonight is because I'm scared about my band slipping if I start vomiting from a virus that's going through my family right now. All 3 of my kids have it, plus 5 other extended family members have had it... I know my husband and I are next. Anybody out there that's been through that, let me know if your band survived. Oh... had my surgery through the Baylor College of Medicine clinic program, but my doctor left there a few months ago and is now with The Methodist Hospital in Houston. Dr. Vadim Sherman. I had a great experience with his program at Baylor, but have only seen him once since he moved hospitals -- the 12 month follow up last September. I'm due to go back in March for a regular follow up.
  4. My family is falling like dominoes to a stomach virus that's making everyone vomit for about 12 hours. It started with extended family (that's what we get for getting together for the holidays) and my daughter had it 2 days ago, my younger son started this morning, and the older boy started tonight. I'm afraid if I start puking I'll have a real problem. Anyone know anything about this kind of thing?
