December 30, 2010 - I am scheduled for LapBand Surgery on 1/11/11. I have thought about having the surgery for a few years and finally decided to have it done because I need more tools to get to where I want to be and this is one of them. I am on blood pressure, cholesterol and prescription diuretics. I retain alot of fluid, especially in my lower legs and they swell. I don't like to the the water pills because I'm constantly running to the bathroom every 15 minutes for the first 4 hours after I take them. When I do take them, I feel much better. I'm able to breath and move better. I'm hoping to lose weight for my health first, I'm tired of being tired and not feeling like doing anything. Being overweight has caused me not to be able to enjoy life like I want to. I want to have more energy and to be healthier, of course being able to shop for clothes and actually like what I see in the mirror is always good too.
