Hi Kelly, I am having LapBand Surgery next Thursday. There is a support group in Norwood;however, I know that it is somewhat of a drive. The group starts this Wednesday from 6-7:30PM. If you are having a problem with surgar, I am not sure if you are consulting with a dietician. Although I am a nurse, I have learned alot. You body could be deficient in something making the cravings worse. Just a thought, Cheryl -

Hi Again,
I am looking forward to the Band, but got nervous last night after reading one person has problems with vomiting. I know I will receive antiemetics in my IV. Any comments? Does everyone go through this and dizziness?

Hello,
I am new just signing on. I am scheduled to have the Lap Band on January 6, 2011. I am ready to focus on myself. I have a few questions.
1. I have been following the preop diet, but find myself getting headaches from not eating. My physician put me on pretty much all liquids, except yogurt and cottage cheese. I am starting to eat turkey (all white meat) in between. Any sugges...
