Welcome to all family members, friends, partners, loved ones, and anybody else who is part of the village that it takes to support a person who has made the choice of a lapband. I am the partner of somebody who had the surgery about a year and a half ago - which was before we got together - and i have had to learn a whole lot about what it means to live a banded lifestyle. I am totally supportive of my partner's decision to change her life with the help of the band but i also think those of us who are with people who have a lapband may have questions, experiences, even sometimes frustrations to share -- so that's what this forum is for.
