Yes... Its called the last meal syndrome of something ....I did it I tried to eat everything I could (lol) But the closer I got to my date the more serious I took this life changing event... Just keep the faith.. And don't beat yourself up to bad. The pre surgery 2 week will be all you need to ready yourself Plus the Holidays just passed We all failed diets that nothing new for a fat person(lol) But there is a silver lining at the end of the tunnel... We will do it together............You will be fine starting tomorrow(lol).......

I have arthritis in both knees and my spine. That along with 347 lbs made life miserable I was taking Ibuprofen 800 mgs 2X a day plus tramadol and still had pain. I was banded Jan 5th, 2011. I stopped taking my Ibuprofen 8 days before the surgery but continued to take Tramadol I am doing fine. If I don't have to I will discontinie taking my Ibuprofen..... My weight is down to 328 and I feel better already. I was able to wash my dishes without sitting down and taking a break. So I don't if the Ibuprohen was helping or hurting..... I FEEL I MADE THE BEST DECISION HAVING LAPBAND...... Knees are stiff but I just keep walking No Pain No gain............ I want to be pill free by this time next year..... Talk to your doctor......

My surgery was Jan. 5th and all is well but this GAS in my chest ... It hurts so bad What do I do It comes and goes......IT IS BAD .......PLEASE HELP

I will be banded January 5th. I am ready. Although there are mixed emotions. I do know I tired of being fat, not able to walk or stand for a long period of time. My legs hurt/my back hurts.Dr Oz said being morbid obese is like having cancer. And I understand what he means . I am on a liquid diet and its going well. Keeping myself busy has helped.

My sister had lapband 2 years ago and she didn't do the pre surgery. But I'm sticking to it so far I am cooking Blackeye peas and I hope its ok to sip the juice from them. this is hard ...............But not as hungry as I thought..............

You go Girl.... Take control of your life and feel better. My sister had the lapband and she doing great. I will have my surgery January 5th I have mixed emotions..I have never been a normal weight....Just go with the flow crying is good sometimes....
