I just checked the weather for Denver for thursday and friday, the snow is only a 30 to 40% chance of having showers, so i would not worry about this storm unless its changes between now and thursday. to me it looks like a small storm, not many inches. good luck. callieanna:)

well im on the count down to getting banded. 1.31.07 i will see the doc in a week and then i have one last test and im all set, i hope, i hope nothing comes up to stall the surgery. im going to be nervous untill i get the final say that all is good. my mom is not being supportive for this new venture im taking. i think all my family on my side is thinking im not going to make it. that i will fail at yet another weight loss diet. That makes me want it more than i can say. i want to look great when they see me the next time. But i must say it has put a damper on my spirit. i felt soo good untill the fight with my mom the other day, its all i can do but to cry all the time now. i will try to get past her hatefull words and think positive but its hard. :think

Hello TracyV, I also have surgery date of the 31st. I am nervous but so excited to get started. im doing all my pre op stuff tomarrow morning. Im looking forward to getting it done also, lol. my friends and family are excited also, i think my girlfriend is almost more excited than i am. lol. well i wish you all the good luck in a fast recovery. callieanna: :clap2:

I have all my pre sugery stuff on Thursday and its done, i have a doc apt on the 12th. then its off to sugery. i cant waite for this to start a whole new life of eating and being healthy and being happy with myself. I'm so glad that you are going for it. I think the lap band is the best decision when it comes to weight loss surgeries. the others seem so drastic. i know some one that did go to the drastic side and yes she lost alot of weight but she also lost all her hair. so now she is slim and bald. lol. im glad im doing this, no hair loss. lol hugs to ya:hug: callie

No, i have not had it done im waiting for my doc apt in 2 wks and i get a date. I have had lots of surgeries so i think this one will be no prob. I have done so much research that i feel confident that im making the right choice for me. I dont want this body any more, i have tried and tried to do it on my own. Sooooo im doing it as soon as i can, im ready to start a new life, a better, healther life, i want to live long, i want to see my kids live long, i dont want them to follow in my foots steps, so im taking the first step to change our lives for the better. Yah we have a foot of snow and its been a light dusting all day. My little ones are loving it... I feel like im going crazy. lol. i want to get started on my new life style and not wait. i wish i could have it already done. lol. callieanna:phanvan

Hello we also have fed. bcbs in colorado i looked into the cost the other day and they said its about 90% they pay so i asked what is my cost and it was just over $1000. Hopes it helps. find a doc and ask what there code for the lap band is and then call the insurance and ask them what your cost will be. They will tell you what the docs contract is for that procedure. callieanna
