I was banded 12/6/10, I have lost 34 pounds so far. I have had 3 fills but hope to get another one on Tuesday. The weight loss is slower than I thought it would be but I am happy with what I lost so far. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and work with a trainer once a week. -
I was banded December 6th, 2010 and finally reached my first goal yesterday.ONEderland!!!! I am so excited and motivated. Like all of you, this is a very hard journey for me but it is SO worth it. I feel great and have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week. I wish everyone success on their journey.

I do not take compliments well either. When my husband tells me I look good I don't believe him cause I feel like he HAS to say that. But when someone from the outside says I look good I am so happy. I am glad you experienced that moment. Keep up the good work. ONEderland will be here before you know it.

I love my surgeon...Dr.Forrester. His office is in Union Nj. The name of his group is NJ bariatric center. They have a great web site...check it out. I don't know if they accept banded patients but you should call and ask. They also have seminars, support groups and clothing swaps. I was just banded on Dec. 6th and have had NO problems at all. -
I am having a huge problem with constipation. I was banded on Dec. 6th and I needed to take a laxative three times already....several days in a row. I have used Mirolax but it was very slow to work so I tried Dulcolax......that was a mistake!!!!! It made me go and go and go all night long.

Hello everyone.......I have been reading this forum for about two months now and everyone's comments have been so helpful. I was banded on Dec.6th in NJ. I have lost 12 lbs so far although this holiday has been difficult for me. I do not have any restriction and look forward to my first fill on Jan. 11th.
