I am considering getting the Lap Band procedure and TriCare is my insurer. I have determined from Tri Care that they cover the procedure and subject to medical confirmation, I think I meet the criteria. I am interested in hearing from (especially TriCare insured) folks who have proceeded down this path as to what to expect, approval procedures, pre-op tests, diets and any other helpful hints. How long from start to finish are we talking?.
