  1. Hello there, Congrats on the surgery! When I had mine last month, I was so sore for about 2 weeks. People heal differently, though some pain is to be expected. I had 4 inscion and my biggest inscion hurt me the most. I have been post op for about 3 weeks and Im feeling really good now, Still a little sore arround the port area. Just give your body some time to heal, rest up and the pain will get better. I took 2 weeks off and went back to work after that, I felt good. If the pain dosen't get any better I would consult your doctor, but keep in mind everyone is different. It might take someone 3 days to heal when your body needs a little more time. Just Keep up the good work and Congrats again on your surgery!\ Angelee

  4. Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar expierence. I am about 3 weeks Post OP and I am on Puree'd food. I can only eat about a half of a cup of food then Im full. I have been eating mostly pureed Tuna, chicken, anything with alot of protine in it. At first the weight fell off, now its slowed down to a stop and Im stuck at 17 lbs lost, and have been there for about a week now. Ive been exersizing as much as I can, And I have been following my post op instructions. To the Letter I just don't know why the scale isn't moving. Am I doing something wrong? The doctor hasen't set up my first fill yet but I do know it is sometime this January, He said he might start filling me early but didn't tell me why. If anyone has any suggestions as to what I should do or have had a similar expierence and overcame the hump in the road please let me know. I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time Angelee

    Plateau this early???

Wow thanks for all the great advice, Its Nice to know that I am not the only one thats going through this sort of thing. My tummy still hurts a little bit arround the big inscion, so when I do exercize it hurts. Ill just keep what Im doing and listen to the advice that you all gave and hopefully the scale will move! Thank you so much for your advice! I really appreciate it!! Angelee
  9. Hello there, I was banded on December 13, 2010. I am 28 years old and I Need to loose about 95 more lbs. I am 5'1'' and all sorts of things run in my family, so I decided that this was the best option for me. Not only to be healthy but to be able to play with my 7 year old. I am 3 weeks post op and I have lost about 17lbs and going strong. I believe sometime in Jan I go for my first fill. I am a little reclusive about it however Im sure Ill be fine. I am on puree'd food and I can eat about a half of a cup of food. I haven't had any restrictions and am doing fine so far. If anyone has any advice for me I would love to hear. Thanks for reading. Have a great holiday!
