  1. I'm starting a t-tapp exercise program this week. Anyone have any experience with t-tapp? I'm hoping this will help in losing more inches and tightening up!! Also... has anyone heard of t-tapp's body brushing??

    Loose SkIn!!!

    I'm currently checking out t-tapping www.t-tapp.com So far I'm really liking the exercises. Also, they advertise "boby brushing" to help with sagging skin. I'm trying it for a while to see what happens. I need to get those flabby, saggy arms fixed one way or another. Like Janiece said, I didn't work this hard to get in shape to have to "cover" up. I still want to lose another 40 lbs. so I figure while still losing, at least I'll try this. It may not really work... but I'll give it a shot.

    hair!!!

    I've notice a BIG difference taking biotin!!! I also had hair loss due to a hypothyroid. My hair hasn't looked this good in years!!!
  4. In December I will be celebrating my one year anniversary with the band and was hoping to reach my goal by then. Since I seemed to have stalled in losing weight during the summer and into September, I was losing hope. So... I gave myself a new goal. I have a work related cocktail party on in beginning of Feb. 2012... and I already found the most adorable tiny black dress. It's a brand new $260 designer dress I got on ebay for $50. Size 10 Petite!!! .... I received the dress in the mail this past week and it's just perfect!!! For giggles and kicks, I decided to try it on. WOW WOW WOW... ... I've got some work to do..... The dress is "PERFECT" and an unbelievable find. I never thought I'd find something that nice on ebay. Now I have to work hard to reach my goal of getting into it. I just got another fill on Oct. 1st and have lost over 8 pounds since. I'm feeling GREAT ... and now can see there is REAL hope of reaching my goal and getting myself comfortably into that dress. I'll have to try it on every other week or so to help keep me going. Once I get there, I'll be sure to change my profile pic on this site and show off that dress !! :-)

    Is it possible???

    Same happened to me. During August and September I lost only 2 pounds.....but I went down a size. Everyone had complimented me and could see that I was losing! (?? ) ~ only 2 pounds in 8 weeks??? I was confused, but so glad I was in a smaller size. You would think that exercise would be the reason...but to be honest... I wasn't as good as I should have been in that area during that time either. I just got another fill on Oct. 1st and have lost over 8 pounds since.     Yes Yes Yes... that is what stuck feels like. I have gotten stuck more than a couple of times... and you'd think I would have learned by now. I usually don't have any problems with chicken.... or really anything so long as I cut it into teeny tiny bites...and remember to eat SLOW... that's the hardest part for me.... eating S -L-O-W when I'm hungry. EVERY time I try to rush a meal, I end up in trouble. Yesterday while at work, I tried to quickly eat a piece of shrimp for lunch. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!!! OMG... I couldn't eat anything solid for the rest of the day... The pain was nasty and there was nothing I could do to move it. I guess shrimp will be OFF my list for a while. Went back to mushies today, just to give my belly a rest from yesterday's trauma. Will definitely be more careful now after that one!! Some days I notice I'm tighter than others.

  8. I too have been gone from this site for a while. I was on vacation in late August... and found it very difficult to get back to my routine in Sept. All in all.... I only lost 1 pound in 6 weeks ~ just glad I didn't gain. However, I had another adjustment this past Saturday and now have to get back into the swing of things. During my vacation... I made some BAD food choices...and found it very difficult to focus on GOOD eating habits in Sept. I'm BACK now!!! I have to lose 45lbs to get to my goal and it seems the wt. loss is really slowing down. I can't believe it's been 9 months already..... Wow... time is surely going fast. I was hoping to reach my goal weight on Christmas.......I'm not sure I'll be able to make it, but I'm going to really, really, really give it a shot. Hope you all are doing GREAT out there!!

  10. I went shopping during lunch today...and I slipped into a size 10 petite Lee Rider jeans. YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!! I'm So So So So happy!!! Doing a happy happy dance!!!

  13. I learned the hard way too. I noticed that when I'm hungry I take bigger bites with less chewing.... BOY... did I ever learn not to RUSH when hungry. Stuck is NOT fun....unfortunately, it's taken me about 3 or 4 stuck episodes to figure that out.

    Hypo-Thyroid Bandsters

    I had my surgery on 12/27/10 and was flying to FL to see my grandbabies in early April. I had NO problems .... I too was curious to see if there would be any problem with the pressure of the plane and whatever else. The only thing I did do was stuggled too hard to get my suitcase up into the over head compartment. I think I might have pulled my port a little because it was pretty sore. Just be careful pushing and pulling your suitcase! Congrats on your son's wedding!!! and have lots of FUN in Vegas!!

  21. My 6 month anniversary was yesterday!! WOW... I'm half way to my goal. I figuring that by next Xmas, I'll be close to or at my goal weight. WOW... I'm sooooooooo excited!!! Yesterday I had to get some blood work done.... re-evaulate everything since I've lost so much weight. Funny thing happened............ The lab tech notice that it said on the blood work order ~ reason for blood work is due to weight loss. She mentioned that she had also lost lots of weight recently on the Actkins diet. She now weighs 176... WHAT????? That's 2 pounds MORE than what I weight now... how could that be???? She was twice as big as me. I coulde fit both my legs into one of her pant legs....... Either she is VERY FLUFFY or... I'm very muscluar... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Do I perceive myself wrong??? I'm so happy to now be in a comfortable (almost loose) size 12 jeans. No way that Lab Tech could be in the same size.
