Curious. I am currently a college student and last week I started a class in a room where the chairs are part of the desks, they sort of swing out. Well, I can barely fit in them and its mildly uncomfortable, but then thats always been the case for chairs for me, but the desk part puts pressure around the area where my lapband is. A few days later I began experiencing a bunch of acid reflux. I have not had problems passing food through though, just periodic bouts of the acid reflux. I actually hadn't made the possible connection until just now when my cat decided to lay on my stomach and it almost immediately caused the acid reflux sensation. So basically, can prolonged pressure (The class is 2 and a half hours long) create problems with the band?
