Hi Stephanie, My name is Rina from Sacramento CA, I'm also needing to lose weight for the surgery 10 lbs. to be exact. I am very anxious and want to have this surgery. I'm at the point where I have decided to do the lap-band. At first the gastric-bypass seemed better, but I see way many more risks with gastric-bypass. I wish you all the luck in the world!!
