Thanks for the support guys! I have talked to a Dr's office and they are willign to take me but want ot check and see if my insurance will work, if not ill be moving on to another dr, the problem i have is I called a fw offices already and they want 1500$ ust to see me cause i didnt have the surgery with them! ouch! way to prey on the needy! Im already ina suit againt 800getthin I think if Dr martinez harrasses me ill be doing the same with him but im not expecting that thankfully. I just wanna move on and finally either lose weight or move on to something else. It seems liek the only thaing that has been amkign me lose weight is the pregnancy, i do get sick not liek i was htough but i find myself CONSTANTLY starving and feeling sick cause i dont feel like eating all the time but my tumy says i have too. idk. Hopefully iLl hear form the new office this monday, they are only gonna charge me 350$ since i didnt have the surgery and they are seeing if my insurance will cover it cause it includes gym stuff and support group fees or something idk i was crying and olyhalf listening to that part thinking where am I gonna come up with it!

OK so the pissed part, Ive been banded for a a year ive lost 10lbs, i find out last august that my band is way to high and way to tight and I have no pouch, I of course find this out after having a week long hospital visit do to severe band pain. My lap band Dr? well he tells me to tell the other Dr to go back to school he has no idea what he talking about and refuses to listen further! trust no more!!!!! Ive always told him that i didnt think it was right that immediatly after tswallowing i can feel it go directly through my band nothing stays ina pouch. He tells me i have no idea what im talking about. awesome. So here i am pregnant I ask a place i got reffered to where i live they say they wont take my insurance they only take the hospitals insurance?! um they dont even have their own plan i checked, she refers me to fills usa not even in my effing area or within 50miles of me. more awesome. So now im 4 1/2 months pregnant having pressure, vomiting, and no one could care less. I will never go back to my previous surgeon. so now im at a loss, anyone in san diego area that doesnt have Dr martinez for a surgeon or the san diego bariatric on frost street? please! Oh and no on 800get thin im already sueing them for insurance fraud. thanks. April

my problem isnt slipping or anything my band is too high, and there is no pouch. and when i told him after i spent a week int he hospital with sever gastritis, the gave me and endospoce and he wouldnt even look at the images and he told me the images didnt show the band that i was a liar, and i didnt know what i was taling about. and when i said the other gastris surgeon was owrried cause ther was no pouch for mu band and that it was not working correctly which i had been telling dr martinez he just told me to tell him to go bak to school. that was my final straw with him, besides the fact that he way overcharged my insurance. I may have found another who will take me after about 40 phone calls today. i think its just ridiculous that they charge you a fee becuase you didnt have ur surgery with them, it makes it so hard, it almost feel liek they are just preying on me cause im deperate. idk.

Thanks fr the replies! the pain is starting to go but at times comes back not alot of pain tho, its more uncomfortable, im happy cause i should be able to test tomorrow, and like i said i have a dr appt on monday it was the soonest i could get in, so fingers crossed its a healthy pregnancy and nothing else! XD

Ok so heres the skinny or should i say here the gooey? anyways I am possible pregnant have most the symptoms, nausea, peeing at the time, gassy eww i know, and damn are my nipples sensi! oh and my hubby keeps staring and mah girls saying they are getting fuller while his mouth drools , silly boy! at any rate it is too early to test I will be able to in a cpl days, My main issue is right now I have a constant pain, its on my left side ovary area, and can stretch across the uterus, it hurts when i stand or get up to fast things like that, to best describe the pain its an annoying ache that can be painful it feels like after u get a charlie horse in ur legs and it still hurts but u live through kind pain? am i rambling are are u picking up what im putting down here? haha, its irritating but I cant tell if its my goo pulling my uterus down, or implantation pain, whatevs, i look on all the forums and of course they are all skinny girl so its gonna be relatively similar but not. I have been pregnant before but it was 10 years ago so im like i dont remember this but i dont remember lunch yesterday either. im cool if im sitting down but laying is a pain i cant get comfy, and getting up fast well thats just not in the cards. any help or info is always welcome and wanted! i have a drs appointment on Monday so if its not gone by then ill already have and appointment for a preggo test and other shizz. thanks gals!

date of happening was 8/23/11- OK so here is goes im at the store with my mom getting stuff for my hubbys and my daughters birthday where where that friday and the monday after, I check out them WHAMMMOOOOO pain in my sternum?! pain like ive never had before sharp but dull like being stabbed with a spoon hard, and its radiating, comes in and goes for a second then wham again, along with nausea for a cpl days I call the lap band office they say get to ER they do all sorts of of test, skip forward two days I get out of the hospital after some great care, Diagnosis, Acute gastritis, and while doing the endoscope the gastroenterologist says um, your lapband is way to high, its at the bottom of your throat, and you do not have a pouch, and its way to tight for you. (im thinking no wonder why im always stuck and immediately after i eat something i feel it go thru my band) SO I call my banding DR, and go in show him all the stuff and he tells me, your band is at your Z-line it is not to high you have a pouch, its not at your throat, in the same sentence he says its at the base of your throat where your stomach meets your throat, then tells me the Gastro Doc for the hospital doesn't know what he is talking about and should go back to school. So im really torn at this moment, Im still nauseous all the time, sharp pains still occur but not as bad, still having a hard time to eat, OH and throw in there that my PCP could care less and says there is nothing wrong with me, im going crazy I have anxiety up the wall, and I fell like im screwed now more than i was before I had the surgery. I have only lost about 20 lbs, and most of tht was pre-op. So on top of it i fell like a failure!! The only cool thing that has happened was the night of my hubbs bday we go to a party at a club and the bouncer asks my hubby would let me swing with him, it was completely shocking i was flabbergasted, and flattered at the same time, after saying no of course, i felt damn good about myself after being outta the hospital for a day lol. Please help! I need suggestions on what to do. I cant find a damn PCP in my area that cares and with my band im just at a total loss. im in El Cajon, ca, if you have any ideas, thanks!

Cindy, there was three ER doctors, and it was the gastro doc that told me not the ER doc and it was after the endoscopy and the hospital does lap bands there i prolly should have put all of this into my first statement but i was nauseous and just pushing through, thats why im asking what to do.. I thought i should have a pouch that was made of stomach right? i don't which is why I feel my food go through my band right after I swallow it, is this normal? I really have no clue how this should feel even after months of having it im used to it but its still foreign and im not sure of it, again im very lucky to have this in and i dont take that for granted. As for the bouncer it was flattering but, as i said im very married very monog, i dont think it would be in my comfort zone, im lucky im comfortable with my hubby seeing me nakid haha.

thanks Shirley! i did get all of my medical records from the first visit, all xrays and such. i got all the Dr's names and everything every one of them gave me a card, to make sure if i ever needed anything to call. So im very lucky, they did give me a daily regiment of prevacid, and anti-nausea, but damn this should not be my everyday i shouldn't have to take anti-nausea everyday ya know. ill see what further testing i can get done, unfortunetly i cant get any referrals cause my PCP says there is nothing wrong with me and so does the surgeon that did the lap band, so apparently i need to find another DR till i can get my testing done. idk its just crazy. I just cant stand to go through all the procedures just to have problems cause of them, dont get me wrong i wouldnt take this back for the world, but damn do it right the first time or admit you where wrong. not only that i found out he charged my insurance 832$ for on fill? wow. IDK ill have to see what i can do i guess..thanks so much for reply-ing!

Ok so after a little research the online kind, I found a few sites saying there are four spots! FOUR spots!! The a spot, c spot, g spot, u spot, and something men like to call "le cul de sac" which is hard to get to but supposed to be amazing, so last nigt we tried I think I was getting a Little "g" and "a" action cause it was amazing, I may have to try again tonight, tho causeni didn't get the u spot which I guess orgasm over and over since it doesn't get over sensitive,BUT must apparently stay moist so the best way is oral stimulation or using extra lube, idk but I'm Sure willing to try!! Haha!!

I get the same way, luckily my hubby loves it! but we keep a towel handy for the after oral so I can feel the sexual penetration part, but i hear ya, its very embarrassing and makes you uncomfortable but for now keep a towel handy and maybe try that BC never know.

I have not found this, but that doesnt mean i wont be looking!!! my hubby is a lover of um oral stimulation, and let me tell you since ive lost weight its been even better eve in the little amount that ive lost so far!! I have found the g and that one is great when i get it, but a new way!! im gonna be googling now!!!

I fell the same way im more sensitive, and my as they call it "fat pad" has shrunk down so I notice things more i guess. I have also notice on certain occasions when the dh is focusing dwn there that hes not having to move skin around, are part the seas idk how to explain it without being to graphic, haha but it makes me feel really goo that he doesnt now ive oly lost 25lbs so far and there actually is a big difference. OH and ps is anyone else having dry skin issues or itching where your skin is shrinking? I am and its in an awkward place, its on the side where leg and lady part meet, like where ur underwhere goes and a little inner hard to explain. But it like dry skin and itchy!! idk what to do!!

ill tell you if you want a great sportsbra I ordered mine from bare necessities its made by glamorise, I am a 46 G and this sucker holds it all in and makes me look like a dd, so its a great minimizer, nothing shakes or shimmies on me, I have never found a sports bra before that i cold really use since they never had enough supports for my giant girls, but alas i went to a bra store got measured and got info, ive never been back to anywhere else to buy bras other than a specialty store cause i know it will fit right! anyways heres the link to the bra i bought, best exercise equipment ive found!!! I was the same way and then came the 4 wks post op slime lol, its not a milestone its just the time when i had it. my doc moved me real fast to normal foods, so in my getting everyone ready i took a little to big of a bite of chicken and a small peice went down without much chewing, NOT FUN! stuck and slimed! it will happen to everyone at some point its a very good thing to learn from tho!!

I have gained back a couple pounds since surgery as well, now i did go off my diet but any gain is a gain. What my dr has told me and im sure others on here will tell you as well is that dont worry about the first 6 weeks since its about healing not losing. the fact that ur staying on diet is good enough, and its normal to have the swelling and you have extra fluid in you as well. Most are not going to lose until at least your first fill is what the majority says on here, dont stress of loss yet I did that enough for the both of us and prolly everyone on here too! take it easy, follow ur drs diet and if you have concerns NEVER hesitate to call! but really dont stress it will fall off soon! mine did, yours will too. The hardest thing is that we expect instant gratification (im am the queen of that!) but it just takes time, especially now. Good Luck!!

last time is had a IV don in my wrist i got a bump like that as well it was at the iv site and the wrist bone, it turned out to be a ganglion cyst, and eventually went away, i would call your dr tho if it concerns you.

So true!! i had a problem with a famous 800 place and couldnt get anyone to listen, well now im in a class action lawsuit against them! 22,000$ charged to my insurance just for pre op testing that was un-necessary!

you need to cl your dr immediatly, my dr told me to call if i had any nausea, or couldnt take anything in! just to be safe! good luck!

im glad they are doing this for you when i lived there i tried getting surgery through OHP and for over 4 years i was told no eventhough i had so many health problems. Congrats to you and i wish you the best!
