I got banded 11/27/2010 and in 4 months i've lost 53 lbs. Im so excited with my success. And thats with me not exercising not even one bit. I will be getting a gym membership to motivate myself because i want tosee more lbs falling off.

I actually could only wait for 2 days post op! So it depends on how u feel. Just dont put alot of pressure on stomach (wink wink)

Yup same here 5 days post op and growling like crazy!! But i noticed that it has improved ever since i started takin Gas X strips and i dont have that growling sound as bad. Also i drink alot of liquids now and more often.

I just got banded Nov 27th. I feel like crap still, is it normal to feel nauseated just by drinkin a sip of water with my prescribed liquid vicodine?? Please share advice that will help me get through this bc as for now i feel I shouldnt have done this.

I had it on Nov 27. But feels like forever. I tried the sugar free jello but it seems to give me alot of gas -

I feel the same way too. I just got banded on the 27th and omg i feel this sharp pain on my left ribs. Dr said it was gas but wow ive never had so much gas pain. Hopefully goes away soon. -

@tchaho thank you so much. I barely went today to get my incisions checked and the DR said they are healing fast but like i said before i dont feel good at all. Specially that before surgery i was the type of person that drank 2 bottles of water and now im only able to drink no more than 30ml of water in sips. It kinda frustrates me but hopefully i get to see light at the end of the tunnel.
