I was banded in August 2006 at the Surgical Weight Loss Centre in Toronto by Dr. Cobourn. I started at 286.5 pounds with a bmi of 48. I have an Inamed band & have lost 138.5 and am loving life in ways I never imagined.

I am a married 47 year old women with adult children and a BMI of 28. I've gone down 20 dress sizes...I started at a size 28 (4x) and am in a size 8. I feel great ...I no longer go to the handicapped bathroom stall...I can cross my legs...I'm no longer the largest person in the room. I no longer feel invisible. My options in life now feel limitless.

I currently run a counselling practise specifically for banded patients. I run workshops @ BreezyWillows Wellness Ranch and provide bandsters with insights into achieving and maintaining their weight loss goals.
