My name is Rebecca and I have been going through the Lap Band Surgery process since March 2010. My surgery is scheduled for December 6, 2010 and I am very very excited! I started at 325 pounds and have lost 20 lbs to date (11/28/10). I have Type II Diabetes and am on all sorts of meds for it, I cant wait to get off all of them! I have tried pretty much every diet known to man and have failed on each. I know this tool will help me. I would love to chat with people who have been through or are going through the same challenges.

I am a single mother of two girls, ages 11 and 12 and am very anxious to do more with them when I lose weight. We have started taking Zumba classes and are having a blast. I am going back to college at age 39 to finish my Bachelors Degree in Art Education and then going to get my Master's Degree as an Art Therapist! I'm sooooo excited for my future.
