Diarhea For Over Three Months
deltadawn817 replied to HondaCivicDude's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
to me it sounds like you should try some probiotics, you could have elevated or low good bacteria in your tummy that is causing it. Have you noticed your toots or diarrhea being really smelly, more than normal? I would suggest yogurt and also acidophilus pills.(vitamin) -
Omeprazole...anyone Take It And Able To Get Off It?
deltadawn817 replied to terrapin16's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was sleeved 3/12 and I still have to take it. I have tried a few times to go off it but I have hear around the 8-10 mo mark. -
When it happens to you. YOU will know it. it is when you eat one bit too much or a few and your mouth starts producing excess saliva to help the food pass. Your bodies natural way of getting things moving there is no stopping it some spit it out to help. I have ONCE gotten sick and I threw up just slime. NO food just clear.

How Many Ppl Exercised During Their Weight Loss Phase?
deltadawn817 replied to cmf1267's topic in Fitness & Exercise
I am now almost 5 months post op and haven't started to work out but I had a restriction due to major knee surgery last year that was lifted June 13th I planned to start working out when on vacation visiting my family July 5-Aug 2 as I would have my sister to work out with and someone to watch my children or cousins to play with them to occupie em. as I am a stay at home mom of a 2 yr old and a 7 yr old. BUT I broke my ankle July 4th and that has put me on a huge halt at exercising. I am going to pick up as soon as I can because it is the same leg my knee surgery was on and that leg looks horrible so much muscle loss. -

Would You Do It Again For Just 70 Pounds To Lose?
deltadawn817 replied to JLOR's topic in The Gals' Room
I have a lot more weight to shed than 60-70lbs I have goal set by clinic would put me at 100 lost but I would still have a BMI of 31.5 because I am short. Wit that said I have my goal and will have to lose 120lbs that is a WHOLE adult. If I in my case had to shed 60-70 lbs I would try a few things first. (it is a lot of money for surgery and it is FOREVER) -
I LOVE my dry roasted Edamame and 1/4 cup is 14G of protein.

I has this problem at first I would get up and have a tiny drinkable yogurt and go back to bed. I talked to a friend of a friend of mine who had sleeve done last fall and she warned me about waking up hungry.

I was told that if you are tired and week that is a sign of dehydration. I would say try to drink more liquid or try adding G2 to help.

Sleeved This Past Monday-Home Terrified Today
deltadawn817 replied to Looking Ahead's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
stress can make your sleeve so funny things. OMG I can't eat at all now when stressed and before that was my go to method to fix my stress. Try slow tinny spoonfuls of warm/hot "food" -
all I can say is understand your numbers if your over all is high you need to MOVE more.

I could do tea of any kind. I was to stay away from coffee for at least 2 weeks more acidic on the stomach.

Laptop, Ipad, Iphone?
deltadawn817 replied to made2beme's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
all I can say is pack what you want. ROLLER suitcase. (I took my phone just didn't use it while there. I used it as my alarm clock) I packed 4 days worth clothes comfortable ones. If you have drain pack a safety pin...it was cold when I went so I put the drain bag think in my sweat jacket pocket. I packed only one pair of shoes but that is because I have a bad knee. I packed my laptop so that I could skype with my family and kids. used the free wifi at the clinic and hotel. Also my friend that went with me took it back to the hotel to use while I stayed my night in the clinic. -
Water Hurts Going Down, Any Advise?
deltadawn817 replied to LovingmeForever's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I only could drink room temp or warm/hot liquids for the first 6-8 weeks. My tiny tummy didn't like cold at all. -
Want Honest Immediate Post Surgery Opinions
deltadawn817 replied to ShannonK's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was tired as in needed a nap for the first 3 weeks. Also had back pain on and off. I also felt like I swallowed an ice cube and it was stuck but that went away around week 4-6 ( I don't remember) Just remember when you have energy and feel good don't over do it as you will pay for it the next day. -
For me it was RIGHT AWAY on the trip home from mexico I had to keep going in the airport restroom to pull them up they were falling down on both sides. I have bought undies 2 times now and am down 55lbs.

Incision Is Healing As Open Hole
deltadawn817 replied to missmachine's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would go buy steri strips and use them to hold the skin closed. Is your belly pulling it open? (gravity)
