deltadawn817 replied to andi0120's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
My MIL had her youngest when she was 40 he is16. It all works out fine. The funny thing is we joke about how he was so young when I entered the family that he does't remember much with me not being around. -

Can't Get Enough Water/protein In... Tips?
deltadawn817 replied to pandee04's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
9/5 as in you are in your first week post op? The only think you should be concerned with is liquid intake and healing in this stage. I didn't and was told not to concentrate on protein intake until I could have full liquids and solids. Give your body time to heal first then focus on protein you will have plenty of time for that. Just stay hydrated that is the most important thing at this stage in your sleeve process. -
places like Davids bridal (I didn't know this ) you buy the dress right off the rack the one you try on. I think they still order some but you can just buy one they have. I was in a wedding a few weeks ago and we ordered our dressed in May I was a size 20 when trying dresses on they ordered me a 16 and it fit I was SO stressed about it fitting me though.

I only get this if I eat a little to much, drink to fat/or soon after eating, or don't chew good enough. So there could be your problem your body is producing it to push everything through your digestive track faster.

How Would You Respond?
deltadawn817 replied to BigGirlVee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
first I would be on the phone to my dad to make sure nothing was said... then I would respond with something I felt the most comfortable with. My mom told my aunt and I was so PISSED I told her that when she has weight loss she could share that information buy mine wasn't hers to share. -
Post-Op Lab Work? What Do You Need?
deltadawn817 replied to pretty-pink's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
CBC, platelets Electrolytes Glucose Iron studies/Ferritin Vitamin B12 Liver Function Lipid Profile 25-Hydroxy vitamin D This is my list. -
Protein was not concentrated on my program in this stage. Hydration was the key and that was it. I was only allowed clear liquids and drinkable yogurt for the first 14 days. Yogurt has some protein in it but not that much. This is your body's healing stage and that should be the main focus.

Couldnt Do Surgery-Liver Size
deltadawn817 replied to SlevieNicks's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am so sorry you are in pain and didn't have the procedure. I know you said it feels like your insides are going to fall out when you stand up. try this It will help. Take a flat sheet and fold it to a small pillow tape it tight to make a hard little pillow. press it against your stomach where the most pain is when standing and sitting it will help so much. -
I was doing sub lingual dots and now I am doing sub lingual liquid (tastes nasty) but I like it a lot more. I feel better. I feel energy right after I take it and if I need a pick me up I just have a little more. It says to have up to 4 droppers a day I only usually do 1-2 so when I need extra I know I am not getting too much.

Couldnt Do Surgery-Liver Size
deltadawn817 replied to SlevieNicks's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sounds to me like you need a better pre op diet. I am surprised you only lost 8 lbs and gained some back. Doesn't sound like a good, fat flushing pre op diet. -
Is Sleeve Success Possible Without Exercise?
deltadawn817 replied to DanaInNewOrleans's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would say yes you can but it depends on how strict you are about getting to goal. I had a major knee surgery ACI/Carticel May/2011 sleeve March/12 and plated broken ankle July/12 . I admit I have not exercised once yet. I have been meaning to ride the exercise bike but haven't gotten into a routine yet as I am just now getting better from my ankle, school has started for my kids and me. So it has been crazy the last 4 weeks. I am down 75lbs since March starting at 278. The clinic set their goal at 174 but I would rather be 155-160 as I am 5'3. I know I am going to have to exercise to get to where I want to be. I would suggest finding something you like to do. Ask your ortho I am sure you are able to bike. Walmart has a nice compact bike for $100. I know I have it. -

Marriage & Vsg...
deltadawn817 replied to jessfharris's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
No one can make any decisions for you. You have to make them for your self. Look at in a different direction. I would be glad that kids were not brought into that relationship. In the end he wouldn't be just leaving you it would have been you and kid(s). Him treating you less and human gives you the right in gods eyes for a divorce. I am sure it is going to be hard in the start but in the long run you will find your inner peace and happiness. -
Excerise I Hate It, Even The Stuff I Thought I Liked
deltadawn817 replied to wantingtolivehealthy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
everyone has to start some where even if they have never had a weight problem. I would suggest starting bike 3-4 times a day for 15 min each time. do what you can and build your time up as you go when you can bike longer in one session then do it 2 times a day down to once a day for the longer period of time. Your body will adjust it will take time but you will get there. -

FRAUD they are trying to rip you off. Are they out of net work? I would go some place else and report them to your insurance if they are in network. I would also call them and tell them before you pay anything to them you are going to discuss it with your insurance company.

If you are laying around and relaxing try to sit up and not lie all the way down also if you can sleep propped up that will help also. And the couching with deep breathing will help a lot too.
