Ladies-- How Did You Keep Up With Bra Sizes?!
deltadawn817 replied to vanb0052's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
So my bras before surgery were 40H I measure to buy a 38G right now but haven't bought more. As they are $$$ lanebryant right now has a coupon code $40 off $100 and the bras and buy one get one 50% off. I am still wearing my 40H and some 42DDD that I had stashed but they are too big if I bend over they fall out the top TMI . I am thinking about buy some that are a little tight buy might try a coobie, genie bra route. -

Non-Food Rewards?
deltadawn817 replied to GeauxForIt's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My rewards have been new jeans, tops, massage, Oh and I have a big one A hot airbaloon ride/wine tour. (this is a bucket list item) It was my gift to myself when I got to 240 as I hadn't seen that number in 8 years. Also I can't do it till Aug so I am hoping it will be a combo onederland gift too. I am going to start putting money away for my breast lift and TT. So no more big $$ rewards just little ones and a piggy bank. -
Warning<< Gastric Sleeve Surgery Failure Dr Rod
deltadawn817 replied to kacee109's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am glad she came here and posted this I know someone in real life that went to Dr.Rodrguez she had sleeve done and it has been a success through beliteweight. So we talked when I made my choice and she was shocked to see how his reviews have gone down hill. She was sleeved over a year ago. No matter where anyone has surgery everyone has different experiences. There were 4 of us at the clinic I went too and we all could give a different story about our experiences. -
I take min with food though out the day also. I have found if I drink something warm with them that helped in the beginning.

I measure neck, bust, both upper arms, waist, hips, thighs, calf's. I wish I measured my wrist too just at first.

Click Protein Powder?
deltadawn817 replied to starsleeve's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I drink it and LOVE it I have only had the vanilla latte one as I am not a huge mocha fan after surgery. I don't know what type of protein it has but use the email on their website they will respond to you in a timely manner I has to ask about the maltodextrin in it as I am allergic to some forms of malt. I think it took em 4 days to respond. I have it for breakfast almost every morning. -
Photos Of Your Removed Stomach
deltadawn817 replied to nikki82's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Now I wish I had asked for this. I have other surgery images from my 2 knee surgeries but never thought to ask for one for this surgery. It would have been very cool to see how big of a portion they removed. -

Way, Way Tmi... Er... Chafing: A Funny (?) Story
deltadawn817 replied to ouroborous's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Tinea Cruris look it up.. aka crotch rot, jock itch. They are all the same thing. Have you tried any over the counter medication for jock itch? You can get a cream Nystatin percribed. Also wanted to add that cotton underwear are better than any other materiel. I would try to avoid the tight jeans until it gets cleared up. -
I was sleeved there in March and you do your own follow up. All my labs are covered by my insurance but I am going to just talk to my OBGYN OR my general PCP and talk to them about having them ordered for me to get them done. They are general labs that are done most the time anyways. The list is CBC, Electrolytes, Glucose, Iron/Ferritin, Vitamin B12, Liver function, Lipid Profile, Vitamin D, and TSH. I don't know if you could call him and have him put orders in someplace but maybe. I was also told it was required to have a endoscopy at the 6 month mark but then when my new bariatric local Dr questioned why, Dr. Ortiz's office said it wasn't required.

Right After Surgery, What Worked Best For You? Hot, Cold, Room Temp?
deltadawn817 replied to suzcomptime's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
for me everything was hot or room temp. I am now 3 months out and enjoy some cold stuff now but in small amounts and not all the time. I still prefer room temp I can drink more. -
Has Anyone Felt A Little Withdrawn After Surgery?
deltadawn817 replied to wantingtolivehealthy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes but mainly I have found I am more into myself now that I have had surgery and sometimes I find myself not interested in talking to other about their problems ( I can't be bothered) I know that sounds bad but I want to concentrate on myself more now than ever. -

Im Jealous...my Surgery Is At The End Of The Month.
deltadawn817 replied to AmberK1026's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hang in there you will get there. Do you have to do a pre op diet? -
mine was set at 60g-120g. So to me that is a VERY large range. I have been doing well at 60 and find if I am in a stall I just up it for a few days and start dropping weight again.

How Much Weight Before Clothes
deltadawn817 replied to FattyBoombalatty's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was wearing 22 pants. not tight but fitting. It took 40lbs for them to all of sudden over night falling off me. Went to buy one new pair of jeans and fit into a 18 tight so I bought them. Took 8-10 lbs for them not to be tight but NOT falling off yet. I did buy a pair of 16's also at the time as they were on sale buy 1 get one 1/2 off. I haven't tried them on yet as my 18s are still fitting I might be able to get them on but they will be tight I am sure. When my pants started to fall off me I was in a stall. I was not loosing anymore but all of a sudden everything was swimming on me. -
27Ibs Loss After 4 Whole Months...feeling Horrible!
deltadawn817 replied to Mizz Diva's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would think that most Dr's and NUT say no carbonation because most of it is consumed in the form of soda and they don't want you drinking calories. I am going to go with you need to focus on your protein intake levels I know if I am having a stall or weight the same for over a week than I need to focus a little more on my protein intake. If you are doing well with your protein I have found to get me out of a stall I need to focus on calories and try to eat a little more I have noticed if I "cheat" a little Like I had a mini cupcake a week ago and the scale haven't moved in a little over a week I list like 4 lbs overnight after eating that cupcake. Bodies are a strange thing at times sometimes they need more protein and sometimes more calories. -
I have an eye apt next wed but find myself having issues with my glasses now and my script hasn't changed for the last 3 years. I don't know what is up but I am down almost 50 lbs and have been noticing it for a little while now.
