poor puppy, poor you. You might get anemic with all the cycles, like others, consider BC for a while.

why would they suggest a conversion so soon? Awful early for that. I know they can fix Hernia's and treat strictures right?
Feel better soon.

better to tell them and take chances they will tell (whatever they understand to) friends (who won't care) and teachers (who won't care, don't have time to digest the kid twisted story), but they will be confused and could come up with some other sort of crazy story in their own little heads about why you are eating Soup. Keep it simple.

My surgery postponed.
My thought is increase is to agree with another poster, increase calories, or at least ignore them, but reduce carbs to 20-30, don't worry about fat. too few calories and body is in starve mode. But first, have a day of high calories where you eat ice cream or something, then the next day, cut carbs, a jumpstart to make your body think famine is over.. only way i've ever ever lost is low-carbs and ignore fat, even before exercise.

@Little Miss Diva: Band in a hat box in her closet! LOL! I kept the pins that fixed my shattered finger tip (till the box fell down and they got vacumed up!). Sleeve for me on Monday, the sight of that big ole foreign object in my body made me go to Sleeve. I thought about Band, for someone (You) who's Band is failing, I'd go for Sleeve.
Good luck
Hatbox! haahaa

Soexcited,
Your offended because you asked for advice and a person who answered your question said, "IF he is a drinker he should stop...". She did not ASSUME he was drinking, she said, "IF"... Then you tell her you to go to mayo Clinic for information, which states Alcoholism (ie. drinking). can be a cause of Pancreatitis. Sounds like a educated guess to me. You asked for advice and gave a small amount of information about your husband, she is covering the bases that she thought might help you. Geez.

I've read that when your stomach is reduced with Sleeve, you still make as much acid since the Proton Pump(?) is still there and doesn't realize the stomach itself is smaller. I understand you can take PPI's to help with that, but for how long? I don't want Esophageal cancer or other issues from excessive acid from not taking a PPI. I've always ran a bit acidy. I have read somewhere on the internet that with inhibition of stomach acid, your body produces more cells that make acid, so when you do get off PPI's (how much time IDK), your stomach makes even more. Even if that isn't totally true, I would expect some rebound. I've read by having stomach acid reduced, then bacteria in stomach can thrive, since the acid was killing it off (or something like that). That freaks me out.
My surgery has been pumped for insurance stuff, and now is Monday the 28th (today is Friday with a busy working weekend ahead of me).

Try unflavored Protein Powder in Water, gets you some of what you need with out the taste and might break the cycle your in, where you don't want to eat, so you don't eat, so you get sick, and you don't want to eat.... IDK.

My Mom said just to eat less...thanks Mom, hadn't tried that before. I have ignored her and will be having surgery Monday (insurance drama had to bump).

I don't know anything about this, I am sorry to hear it though. Tell us what in the world it is and how you do over time!

YEAAAHAAHHAAAAAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For you!!! Happy Day (sneaky girl!).

Remember Thrush is just yeast anyway, not that bad. I suspect Protein scuz and lack of fluids and change in body.

I think once your skin is stretched it is stretched, and exercise wouldn't have mattered. Work out, feel better, decide on plastic later.

Glad you had fun! Disney rocks! I took anti-inflamatories all the time and slept with my feet up at night, not that you'll need that next time! At universal studios they had a test chair too, but it didn't actually click...boogers. Disney is sooo fun! And in Oct it will be so much easier!

Not to be snarky, but you are hiding it from a group of 25 year old rich kids? They are a particularly judgment passing group, but I see a great teaching moment for the real world. Sounds like you are the only adult of the group!

She scared, find out why (change, losing food buddy, losing you to a skinny woman). 1% chance of death, not too bad. You'll have to educate her since she won't do it herself, use small words and short information since she's shorted a bit out on this one. After you are done, I bet she'll have the surgery too! take her to a seminar or to a Dr's appointment with you, that might help.

Yeah for you!! 59 ani't dead yet! hehe
Lord knows I've gotten a bit on the lazy side as I've gotten on the bigger side, then my DH himself likely does the same since he is in the outta breath side..hehehe. Things to change soon with my surgery (date was moved, now Monday the 20th).

i wouldn't mind to have it to cremate then save for the rest of my ashes one day far away, course my family would prolly think it was trash!
Overseas, Philippines? my friend had knee replacement surgery, they gave her, her knee back in a bloody ZIplock! She didn't know what to do with it then!!
Ha!
I understand though, maybe they burn that kinda waste up? I hope so...

I hear ya, I've been there, though I haven't had surgery, but I will suggest to consider a medication, maybe at some point after surgery if this stays a problem, as compulsive issues are often chemical based and respond well to medication, I'd also keep up Protein so as not to be as hungry.
Good luck!!!

My surgery got bumped from insurance/Dr mess-ups, I now am waiting 2 more weeks. I'd expect to spend one night, then they can check on you if things go wrong, etc, but i'd rather not stay 2 nights. My Dr. recommends one night.
You can always speak up for yourself and insist to stay longer and be monitored more, etc. You know yourself best! Good luck!

Sorry it sucks. Don't bother with tailoring. FK it, just get rid of everything that doesn't fit, buy more, esp underwear-no droppy drawers! Buy pants that have a bit of elastic in them, to kinda hold ya together, jeans always feel good on.
