Thanks alot for you advise ....I am going to continue to give it a try. I am having good days and bad. Next week i am getting a defill. Hopefully that makes a difference. -

I have been banded since 1/2011 and i am having the same problems you are. I have only lost 10pds since Jan. and i feel it is very difficult. I have a 14cc band & had 3 fills 6.5 cc. It is very difficult for me to get bread and meats down as well. My first meal for the day always comes back up for some reason. After that I am okay for the day but the meat hurts going down. I am wondering the same thing. Did i really make the right decision. I can truly say my workout is little to none. Lapbanders does working out really help with the weight loss. I am not eating much of anything daily so i know it is not the calorie intake. -

I am feeling the same way you are. It is time for my cycle and everything i eat is coming back up. I just received a 2nd fill last week and I am 2 months post op today. I guess I will go back to liquids for a week or so. This is so not right. I am feeling so bad and I am starting to doubt myself as to why I even wanted the band. I know this is just an emotional issue but I dont feel like I am losing weight like others and that become discouraging. -

I WAS BANDED ON 1/7/2011 AS WELL AND I HAVENT LOST ANY WEIGHT SINCE PRE-OP. YOU ARE REALLY DOING WELL WITH THE WEIGHT LOSS. I HAVE NOT GAINED ANY WEIGHT SINCE THEN SO I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. I HAD MY FIRST FILL AT 4 WEEKS POST OP AND IT WENT REALLY WELL. SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK....YOU ARE DOING GREAT! -

I am feeling your concern. I have not lost weight since the preop diet and at my first fill I was up 1 pound since surgery. I am not going to give up and you dont either. There are some that lose weight faster than others and we are in that percentile that doesnt lose it as fast. Continue to do what you are doing and I really think the food dairy will help us both. -
Ready for another fill... I need help Lapbanders. I am just not losing much weight and I am not sure if its how im eating, my body's metabolism or I just dont know....The ppl that have lost weight on their diets, will you please tell me what you are eating and how often.

Had my first fill today! Dont feel any different, but I will be patient and give it time. No weight loss....Just getting discouraged.

Next week 4 week post op and getting first fill on Wed. I cannot wait. I have gained and lost the same pds after surgery. I lost 16 pds pre-op and really nothing since surgery. I pray this fill give me some type of restriction.
