Just banded on 11/30, have lost about 12 lbs. so far (18 with my pre-op diet) so am excited! -
Returning to Work

Also was banded on 11/30 and plan to go back to work Monday. I think it is an individual decision, I was still pretty sore yesterday but feel much better today - I think by Monday I will be ready to get back. -

Cpap -- to use or not to use...

I totally recommend wearing your CPAP as it could save your life! There was a State Representative who died of sleep apnea here in PA a couple of weeks ago. It is a very serious condition and you really need to listen to your doctor on this one. I have really bad sleep apnea, have been using my CPAP for over a year, and feel so much better in the morning, much more alert. Good luck! -
Are you having any gas pain? I heard this can be very uncomfortable. I am being banded on November 30 - less than one week to go!

I am being banded on the 30th. A little nervous, but excited too. I just hope this works for me. Have been on the pre-op diet and could really go for some carbs right now. Tomorrow (Thanksgiving) will be hard. But I am committed to making this work this time !
