    Having a bit of pain

    I'm 4.5 months post-op, I've lost 40 pounds. I'm on the slow side, but I like it that way since I don't seem to have the baggy skin problems that seem to go with rapid weight lose. However, I've been having a sharp pain near where the band should be located when I eat hard solids like chicken. I was concerned that I may be getting an ulceration. I put myself on soft foods and protein drinks today to see how it goes, and so far no pain. Has anyone had this kind of problem? If you had band errosion, how did you know?:smile:
