Since my consult I have lost 22 lbs. They coumt since my last visit proior to surgery and that lose is only a few lbs. I hope I do much better. I go back for my first apt tomorrow.

Hi, Lori. I was banded at Christiana by Dr Irigau. I was banded on Jan 17th. I am told that I am on pureed food. Anything I can blend. I don't feel so deprived now. I haven't been doing well in the weight loss but honestly I think thats because I am having problems with constipation. I am a little frustrated about. I am still having some issues with the left shoulder gas pain although walking alot

Congrats to you. I am from Dover, DE.. I was banded on 1/17/11 in Christiana. How are you feeling? I am having a good bit of gas pain and pressure from the hiatal hernia repair that was done at the same time. Best of luck to you. Barbara

I am now 2 days post op. I was in a lot of pain in the shoulder and neck yesterday afternoon. I tried Arnica relief (chewable tablets) from GNC and it helped alot. I am feeling much better this morning. Still some bloated and I am sure that will be better as the week goes on. Thinking and praying for those who are banned this week. I was upset that a friend of mine wasn't experiencing any pain after surgery and I was having a lot. I know every person is different. -

Just one more day to go............. I am so excited. I pray that everything goes well. I am happy that my mom and I are doing this together. I will let you know how it goes. We have to be there at 5 am. Please say a prayer. -

My Surgery is Monday the 17th. Just 2 days away. So excited yet nervous. I am on my clear liquids, belly is growling and I have the headache. I keep saying it isn't forever. My mom and I are actually going for surgery on the same day. Looking forward to the new life.
