    Well I have completed my week! I hope this week to get in some cardio. It has been really cold and rainny here this week. I hate the cold now!!!!!!!!!

    can't throw up

    I caught a virus 2 weeks after being bandded. I noticed too that you can't throw up if nothing is in your little stomach but I did have some phenergan, so I took that and thank goddness I didn't pop any stiches from dry heaving. I will ask the doctor next time I go for a script of phenergan to keep on hand.

    I was on Zoloft, I have been off for about 6 months. I have PMS really bad 2 weeks before my cycle. I am going back to the doctor to get on something for that. Does nyone have any suggestions on what workd great for PMs.

    The 23rd is going to be a year, I for sure thought I would have gotten to my goal by now but I am just starting to exercise. I am happy with what I lost, without the help of the band I would still be misrable. The most weight I ever loss on my own was 18 lbs and would gain double everytime.

    Went out Sunday and bought me a work bench with weights. I am feeling it today. Plan on doing this 3 times a week, maybe more. I love it.

    Hi Redgirl, I am from Raceland. Give it time I just reached my sweet point last month. Weight loss has slowed down but I am getting closer to goal. How many fills have you had. I think I had about 9.

    Well I am trying to shoot for 3x's a week. Mon, Wed ,and Fri. If I can do this, it is better than none. On the days I am off I am fine. When I work I work a 12 hour shift and have a 7 year old, so it makes thing really hard if you know what mean.

    Hair loss with the band?

    I have had some hair loss, but not noticable to anyone. I see it when I wash my hair. Its almost a year since surgery and I can see the new growth coming up. On dry cold days it sticks staight up on my head, so I know its growing back. I have really thick hair. It is starting to slack off. I proberly don't get as much protein as I should. If you have have thin hair I would recommend making sure you have the recommending amount of protein. My mom has really thin hair and she didn't do to bad with hers but she uses some shampoo called Nixion, something like that.

    Any Younger Bansters Here?

    So glad to hear from a few of you. I think January is the best month to be banded in, after all the Holidays are over. I was bad and ate a lot of sweets, now I have to get back on track. I never really started exercising but I will be starting tomorrow. Good Luck to everyone this month on their new best friend.

    I am boarding your train! I have about 20lbs to go. I will take my measurments tonight or in the morning. I have to tone these legs up so I can wear shorts this summer...lol. I too have knee problems, I think it is time to see a Dr about it. My right knee grinds so much when I do squats, the person on the side of me can hear it. Its like bone rubbing on bone. It's gross!

    tired alot lately

    I too have been feeling really tired. I don't think I am getting enough protein and I was eating a lot of sweets for the holidays. I think thats what got me lazy. My TOM also has been starting a week earlier every month since I have lost weight. I think it may have something to do with that. I am going to my OBGYN in 2 weeks so I will see what she says and let you know what I fine out.

    That is great! I need to start exercising too. I work shift work and it is so hard to stay on track, it is impossiable. Well glad you had a great Christmas. Stay in touch. We will have a skinny New Year...lol.
  24. One week post-op. 11 months post. Excuse my silly face! I'm on the right. Couldn't get them a little bigger.
