    Thanks for the kind words and hugs Gerbera! Tomorrow will be easier because I won't be stuck in the house all day. Tomorrows Menu: B- shake L- chicken salad Kit D- 6 oz sirloin & steamed veggies S- Protein Drink S- 1/4 c nuts S- 1 cheese stick I think that is around 1000 calories. Also, I am going to buy another food scale tomorrow so I can measure my food. Go swimming if the pool is open. Thanks again for giving me a soft place to land, I am usually either much more positive or laid back. I have never wanted to dissapoint my daddy and even more so now!! HUGS to you too!

    Gerbera-- I just typed in the web address in my signature and it automatically became clickable, I am not sure how to do it with a journal from this site. I am thinking about takinging it off because it is becoming emabarassing. I have eaten so much the last few days, I am totally ashamed of myself. I feel as if I haven't even had surgery, except for the extra guilt. I feel so guilty because my dad paid for my surgery and has very high expectations, I think he is expecting bypass like results. I told him I was going to the doctor to buy shakes and he called afterwards to see what the scale said. I had only lost 2.5 pound in a week and a half so I lied and said that they were really busy at the docs office and I didn't want to be a nuisance so I didn't weigh. And that was before I started falling off the wagon so badly. I keep telling myself I will things will improve when I start getting fills but I worry that I will continue to fail then too. I am glad I have to work tommorrow nite, being home and bored all day is lousy on the diet. Thanks for letting me vent.

    The weather here is frightfull, the roads are frozen over and I have been stuck in the house for 3 days now. I am almost willing to brave the roads just to get away from my children... They are driving me nuts!! Also, being so bored makes it hard to not eat. I just want to eat, eat, eat. God I am SO BORED!

    Roband, I haven't been as lucky... I am still losing but very slowly, I look forward to getting a fill, but if I had restriction and was losing weight like you are I might wait until getting a fill, why mess with a good thing?

    losinjusme--Sorry to hear you are sick ...I hope you get to feeling better!! Good job on going to class anyway. Welcome Maysa, Welcome Reeizbooje glad you could join us!!! How do all of you campers feel about setting a few goals as a group and each day we could check in with each other... My ideas are along these lines: 1. I drank at least 64 ounces of Water today. 2. I got in (65) grams of Protein today. 3. I waited 30 minutes after my meals to eat. 4. I ate my protein first. Any one interested in doing such a thing? Feel free to make other suggestions.

    My Plan for today was to: Get in all my Water, do my walking video twice (it feels so stupid to walk in the house but it is frozen outside) Get in all my Protein (that is so hard for me) Not eat after 9 pm Well, I will most likely get in all my water, l did the exercise video one time, but did not get in all my protein and I snacked after 9. I had a good eating day, around 1000 calories. I appreciate everyone's support on this forum. Let's keep up the hard work!!

Josette- That sound like a good idea but I only weigh at the doctor, most scales don't go high enough, so I will only be able to post when I have been to the doctor.     Getting Ready for Spring Bootcamp

    Well the RHCP show was postponed because of the winter weather!!!! Bummer. So I came home and watched movies with my hubby, which I love except we have our old habits of eating during the movies and I let it get me, I ate an ENITIRE cup or more of cashews. I really blew it yesterday and had almost 2000 calories!!!!!!!!! I did get in all my Water and Protein (of course, how could I not with 2000 calories). And I didn't get any exercise. I weighed yesterday its been a week and a half and I have lost an additional 2.4 pounds, I am glad it was moving in the right direction but sad that it was so little. I got my fill date moved up a week so I get my first fill on Jan 23, I can't wait!!!

    I kind of do like you said and drink a bottle in between meals Kay. I am worried that when I get a fill I won't be able to chug it like I do now and then I will really be in a fix. My doctor recommends not drinking 30 minutes before or after, but I just stick with the after part now...I never really know when 30 minutes before is. I have a question for you guys... For anyone on solids yet.. has your dr given you any guidelines regarding calories. I feel like I need a limit to stick too and want to be reasonable. I went in the dr. yesterday to buy more shakes and weighed while there, I was down 3 pounds in a week and a half, and I am thankful it went down but I was sure wishing for more, I spoke to them about making my fill sooner because it was scheduled at 7 wks instead of 6 weeks and they accomodated me and made it for the 23rd!! I am thankful for that. The last couple of nites I have been sliding into old habits, and munching out while watching movies. I ate a whole cup or more of cashews last nite and a 5 oz chunk of cheese the nite before. I need a spanking!! Could someone come over and hold my mouth shut please.

    Going out to eat tonite with a girlfriend... I am having trouble deciding what to eat and keep within my limit of 700 calories (I am saving up for this meal). I have the usual mexican, italian, steak, bbq and sandwich options. Any advice?

    Hi Jaqui-- It doesn't seem that you would be more hungry than normal, but who knows what normal is. Keep up the hard work, make sure you are getting all your water and protein...and hold strong until you get a fill. Water and protein are the most important! Good luck on your Journey.

    Hey Campers... I hear some good things going on out there, keep it up!! Morning---here is your scolding ##$$#$ now fuh-gedda-bout-it and move on, consider it your last hurrah with the box o' chocolate! I need my scolding too... I had the munchies last night and chomped down on a 5 oz chunck of cheese! And to top that off I didn't get in all my water. But I am back on the band wagon today! gonna get in all my water and eat right!! Guess what my exercise will be for today!!!??? Rockin' my @$$ off at the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert:clap2:

    Denise, I drink "meal replacement" shake for breakfast that has 28 grams of Protein, and I drink an herbalife beverage mix that has 15 and tastes really good compared to the Matrix Nectars I have tried. And then I try to eat the rest. I need to do better so I am considering looking into other supplements. Guess what...My girlfried won front row tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert, so guess where I am going on the worst winter nite of the year.... Gonna Rock out!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if I have to ice skate to get there

    I am sitting here...reading this forum trying desperately not to eat anything else, I have had my limit for the day!!!!!!!!!!! But this is my munchy time. And boy do I ever have the munchies! It is because I didn't get enough protein today, I know. But I have had 1000 calories and I don't want to eat anything else. I need to get in more protein but I absolutely HATE the protein drinks. I think I might try those bullet things because I could probably choke that much down really quick.

    GOOD MORNING BOOT CAMPERS!!!! What's it going to be today? A day of making poor choices and getting bummed out or a day of making great choices and feeling AWESOME about yourself... I for one am going to have a SPECTACULAR DAY! Why don't you join me?! My goals for today are: 1. Exercise (half way there as I walked to work today) 2. Get in all my Water. (64 oz BABY) 3.     CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!! Come on guys...doesn't that just melt and sliiiiiiiide right throught the band? Here is a little tough love!! Sweers are addictive and just make you crave more sweets. Also, for Breakfast we should all be having something high Protein and low carb...it will help stabilize your blood sugar and keep you going until lunch, try it and see! I am having an excellent day... after I chug this jug I will have gotten in all my Water, eaten around 1000 calories, walked 1.4 miles and went swimming with the fam! I MET ALL OF TODAYS GOAL!! feels good, you can do it too!!!!!!!!!

    So, how did ya'll do today? I didn't do too well in my personal challenge to drink all my Water... I got about 3-4 cups. But I will reach around and pat myself on the back for getting in all my Protein. Tomorrows Personal Challenge: Get in 64 oz of water. 1000 calories or less!

    ibrahem---For everyone of us every doctor has a different diet. So many different plans, some people don't have to do liquids at all. I know it is tough, but if you can, you should follow your dr's suggestions. Try eating different varieties of soup, homemade is the best. One thing I did was get my favorite spicy soup from a restaurant (potato at olive garden) and strained it, blened up the potatoes, put them back in and it satisfied many a craving. Just do your best!

    I commit too!! I was reading something today that struck me and I think I will share... Lessons from Dogs: Have you ever noticed how with dogs every 15 minutes is a new day, for example, ever try to punish a dog for a mess it made 20 minutes ago? All you get is an innocent look. So I want it to be the same for me...I don't need to wait to tommorrow to start a new day, I can start it NOW. So if you screw up...Start fresh NOW!!! Thanks Teresita! I am looking forward to this thread!! My challenge for myself today is to get in 64 oz Water...I better get started.
