What spasm meds do you take?

Yes I'm six weeks post op and still do this. My doc explained to me that it's a combination to a side effect of anesthesia and a metabolic issue from the rapid weight loss. So it's kinda a double whammy. Mine got better for a few nights and I thought it was gone but happened again last night. It's not a very fun thing to deal with. First of all it's a bit frightening to me to wake up so uncontrollably cold to the point of severe shakes and it breaks my sleep pattern so I end up tired.

Oh not fun! Am I out of the woods? I'm almost six weeks post op.

Is it common with this surgery? Why do people get it from surgery?

I have never heard of this. What is Thrush and does it happen to vertical patients? I'm six weeks post op. Am I out of the woods? I just started taking a probiotic yesterday.

I was wondering what's better? Is there a difference with consistency or digestion? Isopure or Unjury unflavored powder?

I'm almost six weeks post op and waking up very nauseated and it doesn't subside for about two hours after I wake up. Is this normal? How do I manage it? Will it eventually go away after a few weeks?

I just ordered Unjury unflavored and chocolate shakes. We'll see if helps. I'm six weeks post op and doc says I don't need protein supplements. I'm feeling really weak and wonder if this is why.

I hit wonderland too but so unhappy about just spending seven days in the hospital due to my sleeve narrowing where my band was that created scar tissue. I had to have another surgery last Wednesday to balloon it and get it open. I'm so depressed I don't even care about the weight. I had sleeve surgery five weeks ago and had such a hard time recovering and now this. By week five I was supposed to be on soft meats and advanced and I'm still on full liquids with all kinds of surgery pain again where they opened me up. I'm sorry I did this surgery and I'm in a very bad place mentally. I know one day I will be happy to be in wonderland. I'm just so sick and weak I can't be happy and wear jeans and be happy. So for the venting but I had to get it out.

I'm new to this five weeks out. I've only spit up foam and slime. After you guys throw up how long do you have to wait before you eat or drink again? Does it swell?

I've had surgery twice this month. I had the sleeve and then a stricture repair. Both times I fit a period the next day. Not only does rapid weight loss rock your hormones but so does anesthesia. I was told that by my surgeon. So it's a double whammy!

I'm five weeks post op and have an annoying problem. After surgery I've noticed when I sleep I wake up with body shivers and chills. Almost like the feeling you get after your in shock or come out of surgery. It's very annoying because its interrupting my sleep patterns. No fever, just chills, and shivers. It's only when I sleep .. I was wondering if anyone else does this? What's causing it? Hmmm..

Where or how do I search this person? It would be helpful for me to read the journey. I need inspiration.

My doc has perceived Levsin for my tummy cramps and intestine pain. Has anyone taken this and did you have side effects? I read about it and it sounds kinda scary all the side effects.

Yes that is what it felt like. They call it a stricture or kink. Call your doc! I got dehydrated and depleted. I'm very grateful it wasn't a leak and could have been worse. I'm just feeling down because I took two steps backwards with diet, energy, swollen tummy and pain all over again from the procedure.

It seems I'm Lactose Intolerant. What are some good lactose free shakes? Where do I buy them?

I'm 3 1/2 weeks post op. I've been nauseated on and off all day. I just spit up a few bites of food I ate. This is the first time I've done this since surgery. What should I do? How long do I wait till I eat or drink again? I've got a burning pain like I'm hungry too.

I'm 26 days post op. I've been on full liquids for a week and just started mushies two days ago. I was doing really good and then this afternoon I hardly can get down a protein shake. Are there days where my tummy is just tighter? Anything to relax it?

I've hit rock bottom. I'm 3 1/2 weeks post op and today is a rough day. I'm very tired, nauseated, diarrhea usually once a day and wondering if I'm even getting enough nutrients at this point. I've lost 28 lbs and so overwhelmed with what to do eat, when to sip, am I getting enough fluids etc..?? It goes on and on right now. My doc says to try going on to soft meats and veggies and I hardly can get down 11 Oz of protein shake per sitting. It takes over an hour to sip that. Does it better from here?? I'm wondering WTF I did to my body and hitting a low point.

Thanks for posting this. I'm very much also struggling this week with water and protein shakes. I'm 3 1/2 weeks out and kinda miserable with the food water circus. Where do I buy Unjury?

I'm three weeks post op and I think tonight is the first time I feel hungry. Does this happen about now? Does the swelling go down in your tummy and start actually getting some hunger and craving a little food? I virtually have not had hunger pains or really wanted much food till now.
