Cassie good luck tomorrow I'm excited for you! The breast lift for me was one of the easier procedures to get through. -

You guys are lucky! I'm a long distance runner (15 plus miles a day, I'm training for the ultra marathon) I do yoga and boxing as well and I still couldn't get rid of my hanging skin surgery was the only way. I'm glad I did it all because now I can see what all my hard work had accomplished;-) -
got a look at my inner thighs!
Vanilla sky replied to feb27bandwoman's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I had a thigh lift to get rid of the same problem. The results are amazing and I'm so glad I did it I can wear shorts now I have also had a tummy tuck, breast lift, arm lift, butt lift and last week I had my last surgery an upper back lift. Every single one of these surgeries was worth it! You do have to trade off the hanging skin for a scar but the scars fade and most of mine have but even if they didn't they tell a story. My daughter was so wonderful and said the best thing to me one day when I was looking at my scars she said "mom your like a tiger you've earned your stripes" see a surgeon about your options you won't regret it. -
Butt Lift on Monday, March 11,2013
Vanilla sky replied to MySkinnyDream's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
How did your surgery go? I had a butt lift in December and I am soooo happy with it. I just had an upper back lift done last week to finish out my plastic surgery journey. I have had a tummy tuck, arm lift, breast lift, thigh lift, butt lift and upper back lift. Every single one of those surgeries was worth it! I hope you are doing well if you have any questions feel free to ask. -

I just had an upper back lift to get rid of this problem. I had it done last week and I love love love the results!!! There is no longer one spot on my body that you can pinch anything on (thanks to plastic surgery) I decided to have the upper back lift done when just like you I would cover my shoulders with a shaw I worked to darn hard to do that plus I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, arm lift, thigh lift, and butt lift (not all at once) it seemed silly to just quit while I had only one more surgery left. I highly recommend you see your surgeon about this option it's worth it. -
Inner Thigh Lift And Lower Body Lift
Vanilla sky replied to danielle b's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Allison0927, my tummy tuck was $6500 breast and arm lift was $8000 and I just had a bilateral leg lift that was $4500. It was worth every single penny! I can't even begin to tell you how much better I feel in my own skin now. Danielle b thanks for the tip I am sitting on a cloud of pillows and u were right the butt incisions are the worst part along with the drains i have incisions that run down to my knees but u cant even see them and it actually lifted my lower legs too. All in all the pain is not bad and completely controlled by pain medication and I am only needing a half dose. -
Inner Thigh Lift And Lower Body Lift
Vanilla sky replied to danielle b's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
You look wonderful! I go in for my inner thigh lift/ leg lift the end of this week any tips on a comfortable recovery? I have already gone through a tummy tuck, arm lift and breast lift but I was always able to use my legs so i'm a bit nervous on this one. -

Restriction: Full Vs. Satisfied
Vanilla sky replied to DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!'s topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I agree! I am able to eat anything I want I just don't. Big macs and pizza are what got me to needing the lap band in the first place. -
You look wonderful!! I am having my legs done in July now I cant wait. My incisions will be in the panty line area and then down my inner thigh where are yours if you don't mind me asking?

Are You Prepared For The Consequences Of Your Blessings?
Vanilla sky replied to shrcumm's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Cazzy, I have been there I have lost over 200 pounds had plastic surgery and will have my legs done in July and I cant for the life of me understand why I wasn't critical of myself when I was over 300 pounds like I was when I reached bellow my goal weight. The only answer I have is that being that big I was dead inside I didn't care about my self and when you don't care about yourself you can't even be critical of yourself and thats worse. When I started caring about myself that was when the critical part of me came out (critical towards myself) I had to realize that my self worth didn't come from the way I looked or the # on the scale that kept me in bondage my worth came from who I am in Christ. :-) -
Low Profile Ports
Vanilla sky replied to Wisdom2KnowTheDifference's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I had the traditional port but had it switched to the low profile port when I had my tt. It is much better then before but it still sticks out like a mini golf ball but as far as weight loss goes its a good thing. One option is to have your surgeon place it under the muscle but I wanted any future port work to be a simple procedure (fills and such) just in case. -

If You Had To Choose Just One...
Vanilla sky replied to Jenn1214's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Tummy tuck first for sure arms, breast, then thighs I have had the first 3 done so far and I will be having a leg lift in July. -
I am so sorry you are feeling discouraged. Are you eating processed foods? The reason I ask is because processed foods will always slide right down because it already has gone through a phase of digestion it will not stay in your pouch. Take a look at your diet are you really not satisfied after eating some skinless chicken breast, vegetables and sweet potatoes for example? For the first year I battled with head hunger I kept telling myself I was really hungry but I wasn't I just wanted to eat. But please keep on going in the right direction no matter what your scale says doing the opposite will only cause weight gain and you already know that.

I agree with the above posts I did not get fat eating fruit in fact juicing is part of my daily diet. There is a web site called 'Sick Fat and Nearly Dead' that has a great video on the benefits of juicing and tons of recipes.

I would not worry. I am in the green zone and I can still guzzle down water after my runs.

I Don't Want To Go To The Gym!! But No Work Means No Results!!
Vanilla sky replied to shrcumm's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
One more thing I want to mention I agree with the above posters who said you don't need to go to the gym to workout every movement counts just make a conscious decision to get up and move around every 30 min even if it's to unload the dishwasher check the mail so on. -
I Don't Want To Go To The Gym!! But No Work Means No Results!!
Vanilla sky replied to shrcumm's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
If someone told me 3 years ago that one day I would love running long distance 18 plus miles I would have called them a liar lol. For me it has been amazing to see my body transform going from barely being able to walk a block to running up to 18 miles at a time has been empowering! That being said I could not have done it without plenty of Gods grace. -
I'm glad you were able to order the pb2. The good thing about it being in powder form is you can add it to anything you want to have peanut butter flavor. Example is I like sugar free fat free chocolate pudding and I add the pb2 to it and it tastes just like a peanut butter cup :-)

More Confidence In Bed After You Reach Goal Weight?
Vanilla sky replied to lovex5's topic in The Gals' Room
For me I didn't get my confidence back until I had my plastic surgeries (tummy tuck, arm lift, and breast lift) my husband loved me at my highest 330 and loves me the same at 119 but I didn't feel good with all that hanging skin and now that it's gone the lights are on -
I love peanut butter but I hate the fat in it so I use PB2 it's crushed peanuts that have been pressed until all the oil is drained and your left with a powder all you do is add water and u can make it as thin or thick as you want it only has 45 calories a serving!

So Excited! Tt Four Years After Lapband!
Vanilla sky replied to blackcherry2002's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I'm excited for you! I had mine done the beginning of this year and I am so glad I did. I had to take my pain medication for 3 days and I set my alarm clock to go off when the next dose was due to "stay ahead of the pain" the muscle tightening is what hurts but staying hunched over with a pillow really helped. The pain is worth it and it goes by fast just make sure you have plenty of books to read or movies to watch it can get kinda boring laying around but 4 days after surgery I was walking the neighborhood. -
Thank you for the info. Keep me posted on how your eye swelling goes if you don't mind.
