Hi everyone,
I was banded yesterday, and it all went smoothly. The only thing is the gas pain from surgery is really painful. I have been walking today (around the house, and twice down the street to the mailbox) and it still hurts. I thought it would be gone by now! The pain from the incisions sights seem to be just a little uncomfortable.
Also, in my pre-op meeting with the doc, he said I could take my butalbital prescription for migraines if necessary. Just cut open the caplets because they are too big to swallow. Of course I had a migraine today, took it, and then realized they have caffeine in them. Think I should worry? I have a call into the doctor's office and I am waiting to hear back from them.
One more question, on the dressings for my incisions, there are just a couple of little spots of blood you can see through the dressing. Smaller than a dime. Is this normal?
Sorry if I'm being a baby!
Michelle
