  1. time. And he said he is not willing to make things right and do it again so I have a fair chance in loosing weight. Even though My insurance paid twice for their screw up. And I end up with nothing but a lifetime of sadness and the feeling of guilt due to the doctor bewittling me and my husband. And oh yeah my husband had the band and had no problem the doctor choose to only mess with me. Beware.

  2. I have lost my happiness, my drive, my family has suffered and all I got out of this was 9 large scars all over my stomach that I have to see every day of my life and knowing I will never have the band back in. Once a doctor flags you as a band removal no doctor will operate on someone elses case. And the doctor has told me I have caused it from the start even though I passed everything the first

  3. Well, I have had the worst experience with the band/doctor. Dec 10 I was rushed into the er and told my lap band was infected and it had to come out, I was told I was going to die in two hours and my husband needed to call family. Since then the doctor and hospital have made my life a living hell. They have treated me with no respect, blamed me for contaminating the band internally! How?

    Lap-Band Sucks

Go with the sleeve it is totally safer. Less chances of infections due to you won't have to have a needle stuck into your port and increase the chances of infection or perferation. I did the band and the doctor put in a dirty band and I had to fight for my life 6 weeks later he contaminated it and then every needle that went in the port put bacteria inside the port and I had to have emergency surgery to save my life and spent a week in the hospital trying to live. Not fun, not happy and still without a band. Sucks when you qualify and the doctor screws up and you are blamed for some how causing my own internal infection and the hospital never correcting what happened and pleasing the patient. No they say hey doctor good job on getting the insurance to pay once and then paying again for the removal and the stay even when we caused the entire problem. All I am left with is trauma and a crap load of scars all over my stomach area that I have to see for the rest of my life and know I was the victum of a careless, heartless, doctor in NH

Worried about some bruising that the heprin shots have left so far on my stomach, very large 5x7 area and it is all sore. Any helpful hints I would love to hear or ideas of how long my stomach is going to be brusied for.
