TRACY YOU ARE HOME!!!!! YAHOO!!!!! Congratulations hun!!!! -
Wenjea, If I owned my home (I rent) or had the money in an IRA I sure as heck would do it. I will not be able to do a loan right now either because of some credit issues. Right now I just can't do it. Maybe in a year or two then I can look again. Thanks.

;) :think :think :) Dang insurance companies!!!! Just called mine and they told me NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!! The gal I talked to was really nice and understanding. Said that our policy just states that in no way would it even be considered. Now I either need to wait and see if it changes one day, go to Mexico (not going to happen), or go Self Pay (also not going to happen). I am so dissappointed!!!!!!!!!! I was really hoping that I could be a Bandster!!! :think :think  :think :think

Congratulations to those being Banded today!!!!!!! ???? How hard was it to get your insurance to pay when they say they won't ???? This is the one thing from holding me back from starting the process.

Tracy, I am so excited for you. I had a seminar appointment to go to but was really sick and could not go. Now I need to schedual for another one. Not sure all of my things will go as fast as yours because I know already that my insurance will not cover it. I will have to get it authorized. Not sure if it will pass thru and I know I can't afford to pay for it on my own. -

Hi there NW Washington folks. I am starting the stages that I need to take to become banded. I am hoping that by the middle to end of 2007 I will be banded. One of the things I am doing now is finding a Dr. Can you all sort of help me? If you had your Band done here in the NW could you let me know who your Dr or facility was that you used? I have a few names but am not going to post them at this time. I want to see if who I have is ones that you would give me. I have a few dates in January for seminars that I have found so I guess I need to do those as well. Any :help: you all can share is wonderful!!!! :huggie:

Hi my name is Tammy. I am 34 and live in Washington. I have my name for 2 reasons. First and mainly, because I only have one life to live and also because it is my favorite soap to watch!
-
Well, I am Tammy. I live in Puyallup Washington. I have not been banded yet. I am only in the beginning stages of all of this. I have thought about it for some time now but just over the weekend I finally decided to look into it. I have tried diets, lowcarbing, exercising, you name it! I just can’t seem to A. stick with it & B. when I do loose some I can’t keep it off. I am getting desperate!!!! I am up to about 310lbs! I even hate the way that sounds. I would just love to see 200lbs, but 175-150lbs would be my ultimate goal. I hate that I have an entire person to loose!!!! My BMI is 50.:omg: That is MORBIDLY OBESE!!! I :cry when I write that! I don’t want to be MORBIDLY OBESE! I just want to be at a healthy weight. Had my blood work checked about 2 months ago and everything came back great. Surprised the heck out of me. I think that it even surprised my Dr. To tell you more about me personally. I am married, have been for 6.5yrs. I am a stay at home mom and have 2 wonderful kidlets. My daughter is 5.5yrs old and my son is 3.75yrs old. They all are my life and I am scared that I will not see my life grow and prosper. I don’t come from a skinny family. We all have our own issues. My kids are still at their perfect weights and I so want them to stay that way. My mom is as big as I am, maybe about 20lbs smaller. She and my husband will be the only ones I tell about looking at getting banded. Well I guess that is enough for now and I can’t wait to learn more and get to know you all!!!!

Hi everyone. My name is Tammy and I live in Puyallup. I am just in the beginning stages of learning about the Lapband. I called my insurance (Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield) yesturday and was told that with our contract (hubbies work contract with them) that WLS is not covered. I have not started looking for a Dr. yet, have just began reading on some of the websites is as far as I have gone. I do believe that I have my mom's support for this which is a huge biggie for me. I am happy that a friend of mine from another site guided me to you all!!! Can't wait to get to know you all!!!!
