I had my second fill 3 days ago and got 3cc making a total of 6cc in a 10cc band. I still dont feel the restriction that everyone is talking of. Had a really bad running stomach from the stuff that they made me drink in xray,but feeling better now. I am watching what i eat but have had some salad and crackers as well. When will I feel the restriction that everyone is talking of???????

I so know what you all are talking about I was banded in August and had my second fill to 6cc on a 10cc band. I do not feel much different and am battling to make good choices. Tonight I am going out for dinner and hope to eat as little as possible but I got banded because I needed help and now I dont feel any different??????? Has anyone been through this and come out smiling????

I live in south africa and was banded on 3 Aug. It is not a very common op here and I only know one person here that is that has been banded. I have only lost 10kg and have reached a platea. My surgeon wanted to wait 2 months before having the first fill and then another 3 months for the next. I am feeling a bit down as it does not feel that the band has made any difference at all. I am always hungry. I called and made the fill earlier and am booked for 16th Nov. How long till I feel different???

I have recently been banded because no diet worked for me and am now feeling very low because I have come to realise that the band doesnt really make much difference. I have to make the difference. So its back to the drawing board. Wish I could be 10kg down by Xmas
