Just got done with my Pshyc today. Much more indepth than I thought it would be! Asked me some pretty serious questions that I was not prepaired for, but I guess that is the idea. Went to the docs office afterward and was told I could have my date as soon as tomorow or monday, but it may be in March. I won't know till they call. Chris

this was kinda the biggest question I had for my Doc. when I saw him the first time. I asked him about Snowmobiling and if I would have any problems. He said that it would not afect me at all and he even has a guy that Kickboxes!!! Funny thing is, he snowmobiles and we talked a little about that which made me really liek him haha!! Chris

In the last couple of days I have been having a wierd problem. When I logon I get the redirect screen, but then it goes back to the main menu with the please logon box and all threads locked. If I click on one of the threads then it shows my logon, or if I click on the register link it says I am already logged on. Does anyone know what could possibly be going on??? Thanks Chris

Good luck Greg!!! Wish I had a date! I went in and paid my bill today for the surgeon 6204.00 + 200 for something else!! Maybe this will get me in a bit sooner. BTW, my wife's surgery came out great. Doc got everything all cleaned up she seems to feel pretty good Chris

I havn't gotten a date yet, but they told me that Feb. looks pretty good!! I have my nutrition assesment Friday and maybe my Sphyc then too or the 18th! I am going in to give them the money tomorow while my wife is having surgery to remove a couple of ovarian cysts (gotta kill some time somehow) and maybe I can get some info then. Wish me luck Chris

Some of these thing I know you won't agree with, but they are important to me. I cant wait to get the extra horespower out of my Snowmobile! I have been working on it for 2 years just to keep up with my buddies since I have basically been carrying around an extra person. I want to wear a pair of 20X jeans and my boots. I don't want to have to wear those cheap wranglers from Wal Mart I wnat to be able to wear my concealed weapon and not have it show. I want to be a great role model for my 8 yo son because I have not been yet. My consult was thursday with my nutrition and psych the following weeks. the sooner the better Chris

Hey all, I just submitted my paperwork for my lapband sugery so I have been doing alot of reading on here but still have not found an answer to one of my most nagging questions. In the winter we snowmobile, and ride VERY hard! In one 6 hour day I can easily go through 6 or more bottles of Water trying to stay hydrated. Is drinking this much water going to be a problem for me after the band is in?? My brother is a paramedic and is VERY worried that I will become severly dehydrated. He is worried enough that he has said he won't ride with me without IV fluids with us. I know this is kinda selfish, but this is oone of the reasons I have not gone in sooner. I will not give up sledding, it is my pasion in life, but then again, I also want to be able to do this for a long time and at my weight right now, I might not be around to ride!!
