Sound like the South meadows support group is better than the St Mary's one. I went in January and although the moderator was very nice and helpful the group was a complete waste of my time! Walking would be cool, but you live on the complete opposite end of town from me haha! I am really going to ask my Doc why there are so many different aproaches to the time before surgery! You would think that there should be a set of guidlines t follow and these docs are all over the place! Seems kinda crazy! Good luck to you guys on todays date Chris

my doc. doesn't use the Optifast, he has us use BariatriX supliment. I don't know if it is better or worse, but I get to start it in 2 weeks. That scares me more than the surgery Chris

yeah, one of the other things I had to postponed was a weekend alone with my wife. We were gonna go away for the weekend Feb.15th but my wife said she did not want to go when I was on my liquid diet. I just have to remind myself how much better it will be later on Chris

I don't think about it too much except when I am on here. It does kinda bumm me out though when I think about the things this winter I am going to miss. I will miss our big snowmobile trip in the beginning of mach, and the trip to Texas to visit my sister. I just have to remind myself that next year will be so much better Chris

I go in for my pre op class on the 15th and my wife was wondering if that is something she should be there for?? She does almost all the food prep and is getting pretty nervous about what she will need to do to help me. Chris

she was planning on it, and now she will for sure. I have been really using my Mom for my support because she went through this with her bypass. My wife is really trying to help me out and now we are getting to the stages she can. I will let you all know how it goes on the 6th Thanks Chris

Got a call today and was told all my paperwork is ni and they will call me on friday to setup my surgerie:) Problem is that I will be out of town on friday for most of the day. I hope I can catch them on my way home. I would hate to lose an earlier date because I was out playing Chris

I posted this question on the tech forum and got no replies. Thought I might try here In the last couple of days I have been having a wierd problem. When I logon I get the redirect screen, but then it goes back to the main menu with the please logon box and all threads locked. If I click on one of the threads then it shows my logon, or if I click on the register link it says I am already logged on. Does anyone know what could possibly be going on??? Just did mine on Thursday. It was not that bad and the psycologist that did it was pretty cool! She did ask me questions that I was never expecting which is kinda the point I guess. I was in there about 1.5 hours total and honestly, I was all worked up for nothing Chris
